Wait, do you mean that as an LTC it is legal to have my pistol on the seat beside me NOT concealed in any manner?
Nope. You jumped the shark there.

If you have an LTC, you don't have to conceal it if it's in a belt or shoulder holster.

Re: Knife Sharpeners

I have a Work Sharp. It has it's place, but will not put a razor edge on a knife. As others have said, you can eat up a blade (especially the tip) in a hurry. The Spyderco Sharp Maker will put a definite razor edge on a blade. After using it to sharpen my Piranha P-1 automatic , I took it to the bar...

Re: 74+ year old in-laws wanting to get their LTC and new guns

Take them to a store that has a large selection and let them browse and handle any that interest them, while you answer any questions they have.

Let them make up their own minds. They're old, not helpless.

Re: Trouble Purchasing Rifle at Walmart

I had to make several trips to Wally World to by a rifle a few weeks ago, because their computerized 4473 system was being updated. I put the gun in law a way and made three trips back before they had it fixed. Same process you had with a manager screening then another walking me out. WalMart will ...

Re: TX: Home invader sentenced to life in prison

I think those asking already know, but the term "COP killer bullets" was used to refer to AP rounds. As WTR noted, some people claimed Teflon-coated bullets and Nyclad bullets were AP rounds. Chas. I know "Cop killer bullets" was nothing more than a political construct by gun grabbers doing their u...

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

Sad Trombone: Curtains for Media Heartthrob 'Beto' O'Rourke in Texas? Robert 'Beto' O'Rourke is a media darling. The press has showered him with almost as much glowing coverage as liberals across the country have showered him with donations. He's been swooned over as 'Kennedyesque,' but not for the...

Re: 364 guns stolen in Memphis intercepted on way to Chicago

I assume a stolen .380 could fetch $500 (That's retail for an LCP, I think) from a gangbanger who has no other option. If the .22s fetch half of that and the guns were half of each type, then you're looking at $135k minus expenses. Not a life changing score, but enough to make an idiot take foolish...
