The Hospitality and Medical industries here in this area are forced to hire immigrants from Europe. We can blame government demands on increasing minimum wage, but the truth is we haven't actually increased it here in Texas. Minimum wage is rarely paid at many places in Texas because of the very real laws of supply and demand.

Around 20 years ago there was a little one-off burger joint in an old DQ building on 6th Street in Waco.
They served an old-fashioned burger with a thick & juicy patty. Unless you used a handful of napkins, the juice would run down your arm and drip off your elbow.
It was truly a heart attack on a bun, but the best burgers are.

I like Whataburger better than In N Out, but Steak & Shake beats them both.
