Re: Overdose Suspect Is Revived By Narcan and Fatally Shoots Firefighter

My condolences to those who were harmed by Ruben Houston's actions. The fact that needle usage is so common in these cases complicates the search for weapons. Looks like Houston was willing to kill to stay out of jail. I am glad that the officers were able respond effectively and stop Houston. :tiph...

Re: Tech savvy Hong Kong protestors go digitally dark

In a city where WhatsApp is usually king, protesters have embraced the encrypted messaging app Telegram in recent days, believing it offers better cyber protection and also because it allows larger groups to co-ordinate. On Thursday Telegram announced it had been the target of a major cyber attack,...

It seems very unfair to allow trans-people to compete in women/girls sports.

Re: Trump: Banning Suppressors?

Jerry Miculek did a video on using a pillow as a silencer: It was exceptionally effective for 3-4 shots. https://youtu.be/cnMeTlXsXC8 A metal device that makes the deafening report of a firearm safer while being handily outdone in pure sound suppression by an untraceable pillow can hardly be a good...

Re: Golden State Coach Wears Gun Control Shirt to NBA Finals

Anybody who's paying attention to the last several years of Golden State playoff games knows that Steve Kerr's team has been cheating their way to victory. So it should be no surprise that a dishonest guy like Kerr would favor gun control.

Re: Trump: Banning Suppressors?

I was very disappointed that the Hearing Protection Act wasn't passed in the first two years when we held both chambers and the white house. :iagree: Any criminal that wants a silencer can make one. But the facts, straight from the ATF, are that very few do. According to the ATF, only 6 felons per ...

Re: Trump: Banning Suppressors?

POLITICIANS ARE CALLING FOR A BAN ON ‘SILENCERS.’ HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Silencers: Current Federal law requires ATF to regulate silencers under the NFA. This requires a Federal tax payment of $200 for transfers, ATF approval, and entry of the silencer into a national NFA database. In the pas...

Re: FL: Active shooter at high school in South Florida

I'm curious to see what evidence gets presented in court. What Scot Peterson did was more than just inaction. He effectively ordered a stand down over the radio, telling every other responder to stay away while the shooting continued and victims were bleeding out. I'm not sure Peterson ever notified...

Prof RJ Rummel has shown that historically Democide is the biggest killer. The Communist PRC and USSR were 20th century leaders in democide As Mao said, Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun Democide would include "Strategy of tension" operations that you probably never heard about on leg...

New York, where home invaders are "wonderful people" and home owners are not entitled to protect themselves in their own homes. :banghead:

And they actually wonder why we don't have any respect for them?

Re: UK: Are you extreme right wing (XRW)? Take the British Army test

An Army spokesperson told BuzzFeed News: “The values of our armed forces and the nation they serve are totally incompatible with extremist views. We have robust measures in place to ensure those exhibiting these views are not permitted to serve.” Hmmm the "Army spokesperson" says his "nation" has "...
