Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?

115 gr seems light for a .45

But...

I get in ruts.

I think I've only reloaded 200 gr. lead for .45. Some plain lead and some coated.

Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?

This week, I completed loading 2500 147 gr. Bayou coated bullets in 9MM. I've shot about 1000 without issues. The rest should carry me through the spring (assuming I continue to shoot around a USPSA match per week). If I run low, I'll switch to the Montana Gold 147 gr. and 115 gr. that I have loaded...

Re: Any bank recommendations?

Spirit of Texas Bank has offices near where I worked before retirement but not all that close to home. How do online banks handle signature cards? (On the other hand, why do I care? I've only written 3 or 4 checks this year.) I very rarely go inside a bank. I do all my business, online or at the ATM...

Re: Any bank recommendations?

I don't OC. Many places consider it a 'dress code' violation.

Wells Fargo & Chase have branches all around me.

Any bank recommendations?

It may be time for me to change banks.

I am looking for a bank that tolerates firearm owners, and has branches around Houston and the rest of Texas. :txflag: :fire

Does anyone have any thoughts they would like to share?

Re: California Man Mysteriously Freed After Selling Illegal AR-15s

The ATF (snip) Is In Serious Trouble Sounds better to me;-) So.. If this case were to proceed, and the legislature didn't rewrite the 1968 GCA, you could buy a complete lower from one vendor and a complete upper from another, and wouldn't have a firearm until you manufactured it by putting the halve...

California Man Mysteriously Freed After Selling Illegal AR-15s

Man building and selling AR-15's without serial numbers get's out of jail because it takes both an upper and a lower receiver to be a 'firearm'. https://hotair.com/archives/jazz-shaw/2019/10/13/california-man-mysteriously-freed-selling-illegal-ar-15s/ Roh appears to have gotten off the hook by way o...

Re: Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick attacks NRA and Supports expanded background checks

Pie-in-the-sky proposal One of the problems with ending private transfers is that FFL's charge for transfers. So, require the transfer to take place WITHOUT CHARGE at EVERY Federal office. :evil2: I mean EVERY Federal prosecutor, FBI Office, Post Office, Park Service, BATFE office, Social Security O...
