Re: Taking a Hiatus from Here.

For someone taking a Hiatus you keep coming back. Back at 5:58PM today. To read some PMs. As I suggested previously in another topic, I think it would be beneficial to have the PM contents included in the notice e-mail. I WILL NOT READ OR RESPOND TO ANY FURTHER PMs. Thank you to those who sent me P...

Was a Hiatus, Now a Farewell

I'm going to take a hiatus from TexasCHLforum.com for a while. I've taken an oath to the United States of America. Considering the trust that has been placed in me, I must avoid the appearance of impropriety. I can't be associated with the mentality that is growing here as a result of recent events....

Re: Gun stores that don't allow CHL carry

Yep; ol' Murle is legend. Just ask Crossfire. Nobody has ever figured out how he stays in business, but there he is... Money laundering? I was actually thinking along those lines. Profit margin is to narrow to support his store with the reported number of customers. From what I hear, the IRS loves ...

Re: Anyone work at Walmart stores and carry at work?

So do you work at a Walmart store?

If you do:
Would you rather lose your job, your gun, or your life?
When I worked retail, I wore CCW Breakaways. I was never afraid of my gun being exposed.

Re: upset female wanting to buy gun

Lunch break right now, so I may not be able to post again until later this evening. I am surprised at the turn this thread has taken. Yes, I was a little critical, something just didn't seem right. One of mikedude's first posts seemed really odd to me (especially since he was inferring that he is a ...

Re: upset female wanting to buy gun

Well, there are no details in your post except she said that she can't go home. I'm guessing the police were called because the store asked her to leave and she didn't, thus she was trespassing. I imagine stuff like this happens all the time. Customer isn't happy with store, store asks the customer...

Re: Bloomberg: Blame the iPhone

Unlike other tools, such as the ones apparently universally popular to the members of this forum, iPhones may indeed go rogue. http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-57466521-37/did-iphone-explode-in-17-year-olds-pocket/ I suppose this is because iPhones have a high capacity contact list and can be dial...

Re: Gun stores that don't allow CHL carry

I found it ironic moving to TX and seeing gun stores with signs saying no concealed carry inside. In liberal California the gun stores I frequented had signs saying LEO's and CHL(ccw there) holders could carry inside. Pics of signs? Store names? http://www.Texas3006.com is the place to post the det...

Re: upset female wanting to buy gun

Overheard a call on an adjoining jurisdiction earlier. Upset crying female at gun store wanting to buy a gun saying she can't go home. Store called police. Never heard the outcome, but interesting none the less. Well, there are no details in your post except she said that she can't go home. I'm gue...

Re: Unhappy with myself for a carry decision tonight

This is what I use to carry my Ruger LCP. The pocket is basically designed to be a holster. I don't put anything else in the pocket that carries my gun. I've never had a problem with the trigger snagging or anything with these. http://ccwbreakaways.com/ They now have jeans (I have the khaki pants).
