I brought the cards hoping I would be able to use them, however, I was getting that gun no matter what.

Re: Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp Holster?
You used gift cards for a gun purchase at a gun show?
I've heard a lot of good things about the new Bodyguard 2.0. Not sure if a comp is really needed for a .380 though. For holster recommendations, JM Custom Kydex has been my go to for a few years now. Think I have a discount code I can share if ...

Re: Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp Holster?
t depends on what method of carry you are going to use.
This is what I bought for mine because I drop it in my pants pocket.

Obviously there are many options to choose based on your carry preferences.
Thanks for the reply Grayling. I have ...

Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp Holster?
I picked up a Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp at the Mesquite gun show today. Got a pretty good price and had a couple of Christmas gift cards to throw in on the deal. Just handling it, I am impressed. Even my wife likes it also. I am now in the market for a holster or two for it, both IWB and pocket carry ...

Re: Glock 26X
Gen 6 Glocks come out January 22nd. Not sure if there will be any changes to the 26, but other pistols have changes coming. Here is what I am told will be the changes:
Tested to an even higher standard than the Gen 5
A blend of RTF2 and RTF4 grip texture, allowing for a more CZ style feel ...

Re: Santa, I really want this for Christmas
I've always loved the garage window set up from "The Accountant". You know the one where he has a belt fed mini gun mounted in a front yard facing window.
Hey, I can dream, can't I?

Re: Glock 26X
I believe the 26X frame has a rail. Glockstore now calls it the M1X or some such. I guess Glock didn't like them using the number 26.

Glock 26X
I have a 26 Gen 5. I use the pinky extension on my 10 round mags so as to have a more comfortable grip. I have started seeing u-tube videos about a 26X frame that the Glock Store has developed. It allows a full three fingered grip AND utilizes the Glock 19 15 round mags. This looks like a good thing ...

Re: In today's times............
So sorry to hear about your Mom's passing, TAM. I lost mine 20+ years ago. I still miss her.
I don't envy you having to go to California to deal with this. It has been many many years since we have visited there. I hope it is many more before we go again.

In today's times............
Ok, a question for you folks...........
With all that's going on in the U.S. and the world, have you changed anything about your daily carry? or daily preps? Bigger EDC gun? More capacity? Perhaps you now carry a bag gun in the car or truck when you are getting out to do errands?
I currently ...

Re: Walking stick or walking cane?
I happened to be in the Waxahachie Academy store today, and I took a bit of time perusing their walking "sticks" in their camping section. These are the metal ones that are in several sections that you loosen to lengthen the stick and then retighten to make it "sturdy". I came away very unimpressed ...

Thanks for the link sir. I will check them out.mrvmax wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 5:45 am I have one of these, as long as you can grip a round surface (the head of the stick), these work well. You can get them with lead added for extra weight.

Re: Walking stick or walking cane?
I am a heavy man and tall. I have used a walking since 2005. If I am not in my wheel chair I always have this by my side. They come where you can cut the length to fit you and will hold up to 500lbs. They are one solid piece of which makes for a great weapon also.

Re: Walking stick or walking cane?
Are the ones with hidden swords legal for LTC folks?
While I gather that this question was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, the answer is "sort of". Based on a quick review of chapter 46, all swords (I saw nothing to differentiate the hidden from visible swords) are "location restricted knives". The ...
