Re: A slap in the face

Guess what ... I would NOT be standing in a line with any vile, should-be-exterminated "sex offenders." You think they'd be listening as you (especially if you're a woman) give your HOME ADDRESS and name, and watch the car you drive away in, hahahahah. I would not have one standing to the ...

Re: Merry Chrtmas From the DPS

The law finds many things on speeding stops (and tail lights out, etc.) He was just making sure you didn't have a brick of hash in your lap, chipping off chunks, and your wife weighing them on the Ohaus scale in the passenger seat. The CHL shows that you don't really have a history of doing this, so...

Glad he is OK.

Was the thumb safety engaged, or not? Would this matter?

I'm kind of surprised to read this. I live in Austin and have found the cops to be some of the most reasonable out there. See this quote from original post: "Worked in some drug enforcement section of the police." The officer could have been high on cocaine, crank, or some other powder. N...

I am pleased (and surprised) that there are no "I would never shoot in defense of property" posts here.

Thanks for the notice of the attack piece by the teevee journalist – I didn't see it, but will make the call to condemn it.

While we're on child safety ...

... everyone with BIG TV sets needs to secure them. Kids can pull them over on themselves pretty easily. Here's an awful story to illustrate: Plano 7-Year-Old Killed After TV Topples Over Consumers Warned About Dangers Of Falling Televisions Stephanie Lucero Reporting (CBS 11 News) PLANO The TVs you...

I have to respectfully disagree with the DA's evaluation of this case. I do so reluctantly, because as an attorney I know the risk in trying to second guess a jury, prosecutor, LEO, or judge without seeing all of the evidence to which they were privy. However, if this latest report is accurate rega...

Will I need to find a lawyer or can I just go to the appeal and state my case. I can only tell you what I would do: I would never try to represent myself. If I did, the other lawyer would say something that was half in Latin and win the case. - Jim The bolded section happened to me in small claims ...

By the way, there are many, many more people who should NOT be driving cars because of medical issues, degraded reflexes, reduced mental acuity, and so on. But they are driving around causing wrecks and killing people every single day. Their families are happy to let them do this. I had a 21-year-ol...

Now you ask why dont I move, Its my dad, he has been diagnosed as mentally ill, and child like tendencies. Got arrested in a store recently for hitting a store manager. Now would you want that person to have a gun? You know my opinion. Your father has not been "adjudicated" mentally ill b...

Anyone have a Hillsman Holster?

Hillsman Holster is a Texas-based holster company I want to try, check this out:

http://www.hillsmanholster.com/

They use a later version of Kydex which according to their site is even mo' bettah.

Yes, leather is beautiful, but the awful "plastics" should draw quicker.

If not eBay, who?

I don't see myself quitting eBay right now. I did send them a civil e-mail voicing my irritation and their obvious pro-criminal agenda (banning gun items while allowing pornography and drug paraphenalia sales – hey, I think drugs should be legal, but that's an aside). I buy and sell just about an...
