Re: Texas Dad Shoots Peeping Tom

It seems the DA applied some reason. The peeping Tom is the one who has been charged with "aggravated assult with a deadly weapon along with indecency with a child by exposer". Another quote from the article: "The Fox 26 report said Ramos allegedly tried to pull the trigger on the wif...

Re: Is it me or are postings down

I end up discarding more of my posts than I actually submit. Writing it down helps, but I seem to be getting much more cynical as I age and that really doesn't translate well into the written word especially in our current climate. LOL, so I'm not the only one. I write it, reread it and then think,...

Billboards on the highway at the boarder here would be great. "Welcome to Texas. Please leave the politics that drove you away from home behind".

Re: Gun Grabbers not paying their fair share of taxes

What the leaks and articles "exposing" wealthy liberals is a clever way to get conservatives to advocate for the policies the liberals and those being "exposed" are actually advocating.

Re: Gun Grabbers not paying their fair share of taxes

So, according to this story, if your home appreciates in value, you should pay income tax on the increase every year? If your investments decline in value, will the government pay you back for the "losses" ?? Currently EVERY year the property district estimates the value of your property ...

Re: Constitutional Carry Guide

All of this talk about entering a business that posts 30.06/07 but not 30.05 reminds me of discussions after the passing of open carry. Remember all the talk about being able to enter OC when 30.06 was posted but not 30.07? How did that pan out? And per the handout from [Prepaid legal service], the...

Re: If you have Amazon devices like Ring or Echo...

I still turned it off but one thing this "feature" does is helps track those "tracking tags" like Tile that you can buy and put on things like keys, dogs, kids back packs, etc. The more phones, devices etc that have something like this turned on, better the tracking works as the...

Re: HB2622 passes , creates sanctuary state

I'm not seeing language the protects against an "assault weapons" ban or a "high capacity magazine" ban. Am I missing something. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with what the bill does, I was just wanting to make sure I was understanding correctly what it doesn't do.

Re: HB 1927 on the Senate floor now

This may have been asked but I can't find it. What happens to LTC ? Is it going away? Whats going to happen at gun purchases with background checks for people that have a LTC, is it going to be the wait again to buy? This bill does nothing to the LTC program. It will be exactly the same (cost, requ...

HB 1407 Passed

HB 1407 Just passed the Senate without amendment so it goes on to the Governor. This one is similar to SB 550 and I wasn't sure if SB 550 covered this but now it doesn't matter. This bill removes "Shoulder or Belt" from Holster specifically when in a visible handgun in a vehicle for an LTC.
