I HAVE A UTAH CCW. I proceed to pull out my Utah CCW with my Texas License. She was very rude!!! She said...wheres your Texas CHL. I said, I just moved here and working on it. She hands me my permit back and waves me in!! So far the twice I had to deal with LEOs have been uneventful with my Utah CC...

I have no idea if name matching is an issue in this case. I have seen it be an issue in other cases. I prefer that all my government documents match. The most important safety is between the ears (this guys missed that one). The second and third are keep the trigger covered and the firearm secured. After that the 4 laws of gun safety take over.

p.s., I still can't imagine what it was that it discharged on impact...
