Re: Cockpit view Angels & Birds together over NYC

Volating social distancing? No, I would say that they are about 6ft from each other. 😂🤣😂

Good for the employee. I pray that he does not suffer any ill effects from this.

Re: Welcome to Austin

the mayor said, “I just don’t think we’re going to see that kind of thing happen over an eight-week period of time."

Where did the eight week timeframe come from?

Will it happen in 8 weeks? Maybe not, but it will happen. I am glad that I moved out of Austin.

Re: Texas A&M Campus Carry - Seeking Insight

When I was there about a year ago, I don't remember seeing any 30.06 signs.

And congrats on your daughter making a good decision.

Re: Help me decide !

My opinion is that the seller needs to be looked at before you decide. If they are a reputable dealer, take the used gun and spend the rest on ammo. If the dealer does not have a history to look into, go for the new one. A few years ago, I was able to pick up a used G23 gen 4 from GT Distributors th...

Question on Utah CCW Training

I apologize in advance if this is not the right category for this topic. So my wife and I are planning a trip to Washington State this summer. I have my Texas LTC but Washington does not have reciprocity with Texas. I understand that acquiring a Utah CCW will allow me to carry in Washington. Does an...

Re: Lone Star flag turns 180

Yes, the six flags refer to the six sovereigns of Texas.

If we want to get technical, the timeline is Spain, France, Spain, Republic of Mexico, Republic of Texas, United States, Confederate States, and finally the United States again.

Re: Millenial Anti-Theft Device

It is impeccable timing that this subject has come up. Just last week, I was instructed to teach my department (6) to drive a manual transmission. So my company has one truck with a manual transmission. The owner asked one of my guys to pick up supplies and the only truck was, you guessed it, the on...

Re: Ruger lcp

I carry one in my front right pocket every day. I use a Bear Creek Holster with a shark accent. 1527652908413955450181.jpg If I know that I will go somewhere remotely questionable, I will add something to my belt (Glock 19 or 23). And I am sorry about the orientation of the picture. I don't know how...

Starr County

Well, I was pulled over in Starr County by a DPS Trooper on Friday. I passed him as I came over a ridge, he made a u-turn and turned on his lights. I pulled over (no shoulder), rolled down the windows, turned off my truck, and pulled out my licenses (drivers and LTC) and insurance. Trooper N. (I don...

Re: Kahr P9

All of the Kahr pistols that I have shot have great triggers. That are long, but they are extremely smooth.

I have a K9 (all stainless model) and it runs great. If you are in the Georgetown (just north of Austin) area, I would be more than happy to let you try it out. :fire

Re: Electronic Ear Protection

I recently (last year) purchased some Surefire ear protection. https://www.gtdist.com/surefire-ep7-sonic-defenders.html And https://www.gtdist.com/surefire-ep5-sonic-defendersr-max.html Sounds, at safe levels, are allowed to pass through into the ear canal, while potentially harmful noises (above 85...
