Re: Off The Beaten Path - Palestine, TX

Joe,
Thank you for all of your posts.

Growing up in East Texas - my grandparents had a farm near Elkhart and I remember it being a special occasion to go into Palestine to eat Mexican Food at the Little Mexico in the latter 1960's.

I still conceal but just makes it so nice no worry of if it gets shown or seen. I'm a big guy and that was always a worry or hassle to deal with.

Here's a new one on why we should be carrying with big dogs around. No one had a decent weapon to assist the Mail Man :banghead:

Re: Dog attack in St. Petersburg - OK to Shoot Attacking Dog ?

Thanks for the replies....good stuff. My mind was made up near to 40 years ago regarding dogs. I was roughnecking one summer and staying with my old widow great aunt in Buffalo, Texas. I got home from the rig one night after the 12 hours. A big mean Doberman right next door had got out and knocked a...

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray

Beiruty, Thank you for the concise sequential summary. This was very helpful to me as I have not been following the thread. I posted on FB page A mom called the Houston, TX Police Department and informed that her (58 years old) daughter is doing drugs at her own house Police claimed a mom was worrie...

Dog attack in St. Petersburg - OK to Shoot Attacking Dog ?

Saw this over on Glock Talk and wanted to ask if it would be justified / legal to shoot the attacking dog in Texas by LTC Holder ?

It sure looks to me like it would be justified to shoot the attacking dog?

Thanks, gamboolman....

Re: TX:7 year old girl murdered in Wallisville in drive by shooting or road rage

I have read the whole thread and I am confused.

Can someone please offer Cliff Notes to succinctly define what has happened.

Thanks, gamboolman...

Nice reaction from her partner. I enjoyed the insurance shot after he rounded the car. I’m glad the female cop is alive, I can care less for the other guy as life is about choices and he chose his fate.
Well said Tom.

Best wishes for the wounded Officer. :patriot:
