Re: WACO TACTICAL FITNESS BIATHLON OCT 12
There were only 13 slots left in the Heat #4 as of early this morning. The Waco TF does have the Sprint on Sunday which is a reduced distance and lower round count. The sprint is a good way be introduced to the Biathlon and give you a real good measure of what equipment you would like to use or need...

Re: The Tactical Games coming to Texas
It does look like the Tactical Games pushes the envelop with its obstacle level of difficulty. I am glad they have an over 45 division given the difficulty. Waco is tough enough with its 8 foot wall.

Re: Lonestar Armory Run and Gun (Biathlon)
The entry fee varies from 125 to 140 plus processing by eventbrite, a couple of dollars. You can run an AR pistol if you want I suppose, but there are targets out to 500. An AR pistol will have issues in the wind at ranges over 300 I would guess. I run a 18 inch barrel so I do not lose too much velo...

If I do this correctly is a link to completing the test with eyes closed. He also included a draw which is not part of the test.

Re: Lonestar Armory Run and Gun (Biathlon)
Waco TF did select their name to fit the letters. I have run all but the Oct 2016Crawford biathlons and this is the first time I have cleaned the shooting stages, usually have at least 1 or 2 DNFs. I am a greybeard so have never done the wall though I plan to eventually, just take the 15 minute pena...

Last Weekend's Waco TF was mudfest with rain and hail in the am. I was at least able to get all 7 stages with out DNFing.

Re: Lonestar Armory Run and Gun (Biathlon)
I say try it, that is the only way you will know what you need to work on improving. It will keep you younger and be a motivation to loose some weight. I have improved with age. The competition level has definitely improved and made me work harder and gives me something to work on every week. Dan cr...

Re: Dallas Pistol Club: Metal Mania Sunday 3-18-18

Re: Lonestar Armory Run and Gun (Biathlon)
The saturday morning runners, it did not matter when you started you got rained on. I started at 1:35 and finished at 17:11 of that time they subtract wait and shoot time which was 135 minutes. I took an hour and a half to "run it". There were alot of up and down hills. So the distance was...
