Now, the .223/5....

Re: 30.06/30.07 signs went up at work.

Our HR Group was all geared up to post our offices 30.06 and 30.07 earlier this year. The CEO and CFO had given them that direction. It's already written in our employee manual that we are not allowed to bring firearms into the business. I spoke to HR and then to the CEO and told them the signs were...

Re: Mass Shooting at Orlando Nightclub

Just watched Sheila Jackson Lee on the news... She intends to file a bill tomorrow to place controls on "dangerous assault weapons (of which the AR-15 is one)"... I didn't know how much danger I was in this weekend. I left Houston on Friday evening with an AR 15 and a few hundred rounds of 5.56 ammu...

We will be building on our land soon and I hope to have a range set up using the dike from our pond as a backstop . Re: Off the forum...

Thanks for the reply. We are working on selling the house, already have the RV set up w/ water & power. Biggest problem with the RV was septic solutions. Dealing with that was a minor headache. As far as building, we're deciding between conventional and barndominium. Either will have to wait until ...

Re: Off the forum...

RJ, I knew that Springfield M1A went to a good home. Last I recall you had yet to get the glass sorted out. Has that been addressed? Mike Not yet Mike. I have the Sadlak mount on it (Thanks TAM) but got distracted with all my buying, selling and moving. It has definitely moved closer to the top of ...

Re: Off the forum...

RJGold & Lynyrd.....I'd be very interested in several areas of your efforts to improve your properties. Like have you purchased a tractor? If so, make, size (HP), cab or open, additional implements? Short of a bulldozer, the best method you've used to get rid of mesquite or honey locust? On unimpro...

Re: Off the forum...

Left Sugar Land? How is that possible? Can there be a quiter place than Sugar Land? I just mention getting a weekend place in the country and my wife gives me "the look". Congratulations and welcome back! Sugar Land was good for us. We lived there twice. Once we got our daughter out of Clements and...

Re: Calling all "Texperts", where is this?

Need the help of the forum/ my fellow Texans. We have RV'd a bunch of times from Fort Worth to Port Aransas and have passed through a small town in between here and there that I would like to go back to but can't remember the name. It is a small town with a metal arch style bridge that goes over a ...

Off the forum...

So I am back on the forum after a few months off... We've had some really big changes in our lives. My wife and I bought 63 acres out near La Grange. Totally unimproved property so we've been doing a ton of work just to get power and an RV space set up so we can park our travel trailer there for wee...
