Re: Indoor Range in Roanoke

What else do you think people are looking for in a range? We know what we know from research and always look for more details from everyone who shoots. Any insight to make this the best place to shoot would be great. Thanks in advance Here is what I would like to see in my version of the ideal rang...

Re: Why is race indicated on criminal related posts?

Political Correctness in reporting: "Dallas police are on the lookout for a person. Suspect is about that tall and weighs about that much. Suspect was last seen wearing something. Suspect is considered armed and dangerous......" Doesn't make a whole lot of sense does it? If a crime happens in my are...

Re: Question for Open Carry Proponents

Im having a hard time believing what Im reading here. What is wrong with you people? Open carry should be legal, end of discussion. The 2nd amendment says "Right to keep and BEAR arms" - it doesnt say anything about concealed does it?! Yes its legal to walk down the street with a long gun, but who i...

Re: Another School Shooting

Well, this is obviously a hoax. I mean, everyone knows that its illegal to have a gun on school grounds which means no one could have gotten shot. Shame on the media for reporting this hoax! ........... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Very nice writeup indeed. Regarding the XD warranty, Springfield has a limited lifetime warranty. Springfield warrants to the initial retail purchaser that Springfield products will be free of defects in workmanship or material for the lifetime of the initial retail purchaser. If the initial retail ...

Mandatory Safety Training?

There have been mutiple cases of accidental deaths in the national news recently. The most recent is a man who killed his pregnant wife and unborn child while "cleaning his gun". Another was a man in San Antonio who killed a boy on a trampoline with a stray bullet fired at a target in the man's back...

Re: Man accidentally kills pregnant wife while cleaning gun

The difference is you dont have groups of powerful lobbbyists trying to ban the sale of farm implements on the basis they kill innocent people. So because we have enemies working against our rights, we should start to restrict our rights themselves? That line of thinking is wrong-headed. We...

Re: Man accidentally kills pregnant wife while cleaning gun

I am seriously begining to think there should be some sort of mandatory safety training as a condition of purchasing a firearm. Farm accidents claim about 200-300 children's lives and cause thousands of injuries annually. [sarcasm]We should create a program to mandate licensing and training before ...

Re: Man accidentally kills pregnant wife while cleaning gun

They should have titled the story "Man Negligently Kills Pregnant Wife While Cleaning Gun". Everytime I read a story like this in the news it makes me really angry - there is absolutely no reason for people to die in this manner. I am seriously begining to think there should be some sort of mandator...

Re: Please sign the Texas Open Carry Petition

I must side with Chas on this. One for the same reasons he stated as far is raising the number of buisnesses that will prohbit firearms. No one really raises much cane because we carry concealed, out of sight , out of mind. IF open carry were to pass a lot more folks would raise cane and subsequent...
