Re: Academy and Buying Ammo and carded?

Just buy it on line. usually cheaper, more available. don't have to stand in line or get to the store stupid early in hopes of getting a box. Plenty of online sources, here's one that searches the web for deals. slickguns.com Buying online is far more intrusive in terms of tracking purchases. Kind ...

Re: Academy, You're Fired!

People do remember that they did this before in 2012 right? http://monderno.com/monderno/academy-and-ar-15s/ As for the ammo thing, every time you buy with a credit card it's already in their database. Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. Academy is making a marketing/sales/profit/publicity (lack of...

You have to show ID to vote, after all.
I am a registered voter. I am not a registered gun owner. Who would buy ammo if it wasn't for a gun?
Investor? You know, precious metals, copper and lead.

Re: President calls for reinstatement of assault weapons ban

The government has a rich history of requiring lists which soon are inaccurate, meaningless, and serve only to give a false sense of something being done, and worse, can become a political weapon for whatever administration happens to feel the need. But you're okay with a list to buy ammo? :headscr...

Re: Orlando It has started.

Read "Day of Wrath" by William Forstchen (author of "One Second After"). It will scare you. So realistic. And it is coming. Much more likely than his first book, in the genre, "One Second After", dealing with an EMP. I haven't read that one, but "One Second After" changed my perspective on ...

Re: Orlando It has started.

The Orlando massacre is just the beginning; there are hundreds and maybe 1000s of Islamic terrorists situated in our country, they have been here a good while and more are coming daily thanks to this admn. and maybe the last one. This thing that happened in Orlando is a signal I think to the Muslim...

Re: Peruta En Banc Opinion - Concealed Carry Lost

I was a funeral for an extended family member on Wednesday, and my son's brother in law - a currently serving LEO - and I were talking about potential loss of the 2nd Amendment. He said that, on the day he gets orders to stack up outside someone's home to confiscate their guns is the day he realize...

Re: stay away from this product! Kore Essentials Belts

Sometimes you run into people that are not satisfied unless you do exactly as they say, even if what they say makes no sense. That is when you say "never contact me again". If they have a group of Kool-Aid drinkers or followers, you are most likely better off if they do the same. I thought about ge...

Re: stay away from this product! Kore Essentials Belts

I would never do business with a company that says "please never contact us again." Regardless of the product, issues, who is right and who is wrong.

Re: Dallas Zoo’s gun ban found to be legal by Texas AG

"Do I think the Dallas Zoo is an amusement park - NO. Does it meet the current legal definition of one - sadly yes. " I disagree. Unless the Dallas Zoo has changed a lot since I was last there, there are no "amusement rides" there. The only thing approaching an amusement ride at the Dallas Zoo was ...

Re: Dallas Zoo’s gun ban found to be legal by Texas AG

To be honest, I was a little worried about the Dallas Zoo being able to successfully argue that they are an amusement park. Fort Worth and Houston Zoos are different and I think we will win those. Do I think the Dallas Zoo is an amusement park - NO. Does it meet the current legal definition of one ...

Re: Kentucky Man Shoots Down Drone Hovering Over His Yard

Yep. I fly multirotors professionally and I worry about the day that someone will try to knock a $20k X8 out of the sky because they think I'm spying on their pool  We get it, technology is scary. But it's also VERY easy to misjudge intentions. For example, one of my cheap rigs will fly fairl...

Keith B wrote:That probably includes some non-resident licenses, but basically 1 in 27 people in Texas have an LTC. :txflag:
About 1 in 19 that are age eligible. Over 27% of Texans are under 18, so throw most 18 to 20 year olds in as ineligible and it is definitely over 5% with a LTC.
