Re: Gov. Greg Abbott announced a new school safety plan and proposed changes to gun laws

When are the Santa Fe shooter's parents, or any other mass shooter under 18's parents, going to be charged with making firearms accessible to minors? Putting adults in jail for not keeping their firearms secure is a big step in the right direction. Just my .02, LeonCarr So what about this story... ...

Re: Gov. Greg Abbott announced a new school safety plan and proposed changes to gun laws

if that's what needs to be done then so be it. I guarantee you if the parents were scared of going to jail, they'd be sure to keep their guns locked up which would in turn make it harder for these delinquents to get their hands on guns. Not all kids are delinquents... Few more examples where kids h...

Re: Do Own A Sig 365?

So, bottom line - if you have an issue with the P365, Sig will fix it. So, what's the problem? The problem is that if you need that weapon for defensive purposes and the firing pin has broken, or the trigger has went dead without you being aware, you might not be around for Sig to fix the problem. ...

Re: Gov. Greg Abbott announced a new school safety plan and proposed changes to gun laws

If I can't remember where I secured my gun, but it might be in a safe deposit box that I won't be able to get to for a couple weeks, should I report it just to be safe? Is this really an issue for you? Do you have so many places that you secure your firearm, you might "forget" where you secured it?

Re: McKinney Apartment Evicting Vet for self defense

I mean to disrespect to those of you who are vets, but I don’t see how the subject’s being one is relevant to the story. NO citizen ought to be subjected to injustice just because he or she lawfully defended themselves. On its face, it sounds like this guy did what he had to, but the details are a ...

Re: McKinney Apartment Evicting Vet for self defense

Moments later, video showed Jacobs looking for his attacker who ran off... When he found him, Jacobs said he pulled his gun again. "We walked him out our exit gate and here we are," Jacobs explained. He is not a a commissioned LEO, functioning in the performance of his duty. He is like any of us, a...

His support of the assault weapons ban back in 94... but then again, the NRA didn't exactly stand strong against that either back in the day.

Re: Semi Auto Shotgun Suggestion

I suggest that you go to your LGS or Cabela's and handle each one... bring it to your shoulder and see how it feels. See how your head lines up naturally... are you looking along the barrel or looking down at the barrel? Each one will feel different. Pick the one that feels the best. The best for me...

Re: Oliver North to speak at 30.06ed Church

Well, that was a very long time ago so I will give him the benefit of the doubt for now. If he says something foolish, it won't do the NRA any good at all. Plus, from what I heard, he has been active with the NRA and served on the board for a few years now so he ought to know better now. That was n...

She is out anyway... term limits.

I sure would be canceling my membership with Oklahoma Rifle Association though... they did not support the bill.

OK, so cyphertext, in this situation who do you think is the actual buyer? I have no way of knowing... Have one guy paying, another guy doing paperwork. I would stop the transfer. So you are not saying it's illegal, just strange enough for you to want to be cautious as an FFL. I think that is reaso...

Re: Purchased a gun for a friend

In the auction scenario this takes place all the time. Seller A advertises the gun on Gunbroker for sale. A bidder B wins the bid. B pays A, then provides instructions to get it to a FFL of B's choice. A gets paid by B. A transfers the gun to his dealer "Gunbroker FFL'" with instructions on sending...
