Re: Springfield XDs firing on its own

I was reading in another group about how much they hate springfield pistols. They literally have banned them in discussion. Some people seem to think the XDs can fail internally and cook a round off. I know they had a recall, and that was related to the grip safety not being engaged and firing a ro...

I can't read that tripe. This is the ONLY thing that will change their opinion: To be trapped in a situation when seconds count and the police (who are NOT constitutionally obligated to protect them... see DeShaney v. Re: Open carry question

I thought it was pretty clear that the holster has nothing to do with it being "open carry." Yes a holster must meet certain requirement s to legally open carry with, but as long as the firearm itself, or a portion of it can be seen, then it is considered "open" as it can be seen. If it cannot be s...

Look at the shaded truths that were published and stated to get background checks passed on Oregon. Also, they claimed that 90% of the people wanted more background checks. When the votes were tallied they only received 60 some percent of the vote. Very shaded truths. Last time I visited that side ...

Re: Dems roll out bill to close gun sale 'loophole'

Thus opens the door for people and groups to be targeted for their religious, ideological, and political alignment to be delayed indefinitely, with no need to reason why, and no timeline to conduct their investigation.

Of course they want that, disarm the populace, then control them.

Re: Open carry question

:patriot: w As I read the law, you are carrying openly in IWB when your pistol's grip is visible. This was my original plan for 1/1/16. However, while carrying openly in Tucson, AZ, last summer, a tourist asked me why I was not carrying in a holster. Got me to thinking that a casual or uninformed o...

Re: Open carry question

My holster clips onto my belt and isn't going anywhere unless I move it. I thought that I had to be either completely open or completely concealed? Most holsters conceal the majority of the handgun. What does it matter where they already concealed part of the handgun is concealed at? I'm certain so...

Re: Regents, legislature have final say over campus carry

Threads like these make me worry that we wi never actually see campus carry. The institutions can enact strict rules disarming us, and the legal battle could potentially go on as long as they needed to, leaving the rules unchanged. Hopefully through us being pro-active we can prevent this. I had a ...

Re: Slipping Away?

Colorado seems to have shifted the past several years, all but thanks to the all the liberals flooding into and infecting the state. Used to be one of my favorite places. Exactly. And that's the trend that scares me. If it can happen in Colorado, why not Nevada? Arizona? New Mexico? Texas? I certai...
