Re: An Anti-SWATting Law?

I am so old-fashioned / out of touch.

Had to Google 'swatting' to find out what was being talked about. Seems like everything is getting a fancy name. My education continues! :totap:

Re: How to convince your employer to allow CHL carry

Punishment? You bet. Your fired on the spot, no ifs ands or buts. At some point in your employment life you will have gotten to the point where your current job is worth retiring from. When your fired much of that is history. Its all about the consequences for choices made. Mike What would I do if m...

Re: Ft Worth Stock Show

Thanks for the welcome 'joe817' and I have to admit I have been in Texas many years longer than I have had a CHL and only missed not having one by a couple of years from the start. Can't believe I have missed this forum with all the time I spend 'surfing'. This issue of the Rodeo is a case in point ...

Re: Ft Worth Stock Show

Thank you for that! As a transplanted 'Buckeye' I would have never considered it a 'professional sporting event'. My deepest apologies to all Texas Natives and person understanding the nature of rodeo. MY BAD!

Re: Block Robo Calls

I checked the webpage and its free for 'consumers' no strings attached! :thumbs2: Free for me seems to good to be true. Only thing I can think of is the money stream to run their end comes from the business sector paying for the same benefit I would get for free. Anyone have other ideas? Mike

Re: New to Texas, but not CHL.

I ankle carry a Kahr PM9 80% of the time. If your steel toe boots go above your ankles then the holster will likely have to accommodate the boot & leg. So I am thinking that holster fit around the combination could be an issue or the fit inside the pant leg could too, because of larger overall diame...

Re: Major Announcement Re: Charles Cotton

Charles, I came across the 10 Year Anniversary and Major Announcement post and thought the timing was right (my 1st post :txflag: ) to congratulate you for the work on this forum and other activities and your ‘retirement’. It was a year maybe two before I got my CHL attending the Academy For Firearm...
