Re: TX: Homeowner's gun misfires when confronting burglar

While in gun sales I can’t tell you how many times someone would say,”What is the cheapest gun I can get to defend myself?”

Why on earth would you want to trust your life on “the cheapest”?

Re: NFL ruling about a replay and a judge

I think you may have taken it out of context. There are millions and millions of dollars that are invested into each game, and I think people turn to legal solutions when a game doesn’t go their way. I highly doubt a player hired an attorney to file suit in federal court over the game. More than lik...

Re: Missouri man pulls fast one at gun buyback

so... he sold his home made firearms at a gun buy back? I knew that it was legal to make your own firearm but I thought it was illegal to sell them or even to give them away. It sound like a funny story but I wouldn't take that risk for $300. They weren't real. They were made of PVC pipe in the sha...

Missouri man pulls fast one at gun buyback

https://www.full30.com/watch/MDEwNTg1/selling-homemade-guns-at-gun-buyback He made several homemade guns, for more than likely less than $50 (I could probably put several together with scraps I have laying around) and got $300 for them!! Next time there is a Texas buy back I’m definitely doing this....

Re: Finished Build

I ran a few test rounds through it in the backyard and it cycled and ejected perfectly. Out of respect for the neighbors I try not to shoot rifles back there a whole lot, so next time I go to the range I’ll really put it through its paces.

Re: Don't Be Stupid

To be 100% honest, I wouldn’t have immediately been at such a high alert at just a clown mask. I get it, it could be a facial covering for a robbery. At the same time it could just be a guy playing a prank. Worth chewing someone out over? Definitely not. I think a lot of people get WAY too caught up...

Re: Finished Build

Awesome man. I like the CMC trigger you used, have it in my normal AR15. I love that trigger, there might be (marginally) better triggers, but for the price and the fact that it’s a Texas brand makes it my favorite. Looks good. I have a very similar setup but in 300 blackout. I put an Ainpoint PRO ...

Finished Build

In the spirit of showing off new builds, I’ll jump on the new build bandwagon -Spikes Lower -CMC 3.5lb flat single stage trigger -KAK Buffertube and Shockwave Brace -Strike Industries flatwire buffer spring (eliminates cheese grader sound) also at $15.00 totally worth it -Aero assembled upper -Balli...

Re: Frisco/Plano students create "Securegun" - It'll never fly!

I’m sure criminals will be licking their lips at the thought of getting their hands on a “safe gun”. All criminals will turn in their normal guns and only use smart guns. Everyone will be safe now.

Re: Build AR 6.5 Grendel

I believe primary arms is Houston area, and they typically run some pretty great deals. Online has been the easiest way to find decent deals, I use the gun.deals app to look find discounted parts. They also have a website if you don’t want to download the app. Be warned, once the bug bites you, you’...

Re: SONS OF LIBERTY GUN WORKS

I worked at a gun range and we had a sons of liberty rifle as a rental. I shot probably several hundred through it myself, but watched 1000’s of rounds go through it.

Re: Massachusetts Governor Ignores Court Order

Until government officials start getting prosecuted for actions like this, they are going to keep going, and very likely get worse. Hopefully more people in Texas get on our boat and take action at the polling booths.
