is it a carry gun or just shootin iron?

If it is a carry weapon only - then I have read that the S&W armorers say you 'can' shoot the +P rounds, although you don't want a steady diet of them. I guess the same thing could be said of a home defense weapon. Stay away from the larger grain bullets though - out of the little snubbies they just...

carry weapons

Did you ever see the video of (I think it was) Lenny Magill with like 25 or 30 guns concealed? Probably couldn't move around - but it was kinda interesting just how weapons can be concealed. On a more serious note - I have one "carry" weapon. Lots of other things to go to the range with - but only o...

The most obvious difference is the screw holding the extractor. Here is alink to the KTOG (keltec owner group) list serve with the subject. You may have to do some cut and paste with the link if this server breaks it up. http://www.ktog.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=104;action=display;num=1118894836

Doesn't the TX Code specifically ban guns from school buildings, grounds, and events? If you are TX CHL - can't you lose the license and be prosecuted?

In hindsight, and what I am really trying to say, is this. I no longer trust this person, I am afraid that the proximity to weapons may be a really big temptation, and given a potential psycho-depressive mindset, may be a danger to themselves, us, or others. I just will not let that happen...

Please - no offense intended

I am in agreement with stevie_d_64 - no offense was intended. And while I recognize any email or post to the internet becomes pretty much viewable by anyone. Our sharing of PMs was just because the discussion has been about people very close to us and we wouldn't want to hurt them any more than they...

Question about being around convicted felon

I need some help here and cannot find a straight answer in the TC CH laws book. If I, in my home, were to allow a family member (a convicted felon still on probation for a non violent crime) into my home for a normal day or overnight visit, or possibly to live for a while, what kind of trouble could...

Is the new S&W M&P available?

Does anyone know if the new S&W M&P is available anywhere? Any experiences with it and how much the going prices are? Looks like a really great addition to the S&W line.

Naw - I wouldnt do that to a neighbor's animal (althought there is this one that tears up my grass something fierce after peeing...). I have had a bunch of encounters with dogs that have 'escaped' and gone feral or were never domestic to begin with. This part of Texas seems that folks think a dog, e...

OC and dogs

OC can be effective on dogs etc, but when some of the more agressive breeds are attacking - it is useless, they just fight thru it. An airweight SW 38 loaded with snakeshot for two rounds and three JHPs is my field weapon and has never had to be used past the snakeshot two times now.

It is against the Federal Regulation as cited in the earlier post (36 CFR 327 et seq). If you are caught with a weapon you can be cited by the Corps Ranger. I know, even before this topic goes any further, it is inconsistent policy (Forest Service allows carry - Corps does not) and it was written be...
