Re: Gen 4 Glock 19

Thanks! Works been really slow, so I've been toting the lap top with me to fill the time. Hours of internetting lead me to wonder how things were back where there's sunshine...

Re: Best way to carry in hospital scrubs

I've seen a lot of folks rolling around the hospital with fanny packs. I still thought they looked like dorks, even if they were on the Rapid Response Team... That being said, it's a good idea. As I sit here, in my scrubs, I used to work at an outpatient center near a Dr's office. There were two fol...

Re: Gen 4 Glock 19

I certainly don't have a case through it yet. I'd say I have around a 100 or so rounds through it. It does have the "new and improved" recoil spring assembly, which was told to me to fix the previous issues.

Re: Gen 4 Glock 19

Yessir, good ol' Hide'n Shoot. I go to a league, Tuesday Night Pistol League, where we get a few stages every week. As much fun as you can have with a cover garment.

Gen 4 Glock 19

I recently bought a Glock 19 (Gen 4, cause that mag release button is made of awesome). I had some trepidation as to it's functionality, and I figured, what better way to try out a brand spankin' new gun, than to take it to my weekly IDPA match! Here's the results: (please note, I do not profess to ...

Re: Should I, or Shouldn't I...? Black Talon

I talked to a GunStoreExpert who "informed" me that the 'Talons had a different "petalling" that made them "extra deadly" cause when they opened up they had better "talons" than the new SXTs.
AND
the black coating was a lubricant to make them feed better.

I love gun shops. I "learn" so much...

Sounds like an IDPA stage...

Say you are in the bank to make a deposit when two men wearing masks enter, both are armed but one starts shooting the ceiling and orders everyone to the ground. What is your plan? Wait and see, try to run out, pull your gun? I am just trying to measure different responses to what someone's "line i...

Re: NRA Gun Collectors Show & Seminar

I recently downloaded the ESPN Radio app, and have been keeping up with my Dallas sports teams since moving (yay, me!). anyway, this morning they had Kelly Webster, from 103.3 ESPN Dallas doing a "live remote" out at the Gun Show! I couldn't have been happier. that is some great advertising, and tha...

Re: Top Shot 3

Things that would make Top Shot more watchable: - have voiceovers instead of the host standing behind the shooters yelling I agree with that. - get the host to stop using the ridiculous fake accent. Colby was on the second season of Survivor, which is why this show, being, as Caleb calls it, "Survi...

Re: Tried to warn woman OC'ing in public - Unexpected outcom

yeah, but in a month, everyone up here gets pasty and soggy from the 5 months straight of rain and clouds. we have two seasons, wet, and not as wet. a 60% chance of rain doesn't mean that there's a 60% chance of whether or not it'll rain, it means that it rains for 60% of the day. 20%/rain is only 2...
