I don’t see how you can give up your rights prohibiting search and seizure based upon being employed. Refusal to allow a search may get you terminated, but you may win in court. I would ask for a search warrant.
Good luck with that. :tiphat:

We all have to be realistic that there are people that should not have firearms.
No doubt those people also shouldn't have sharp objects, motor vehicles, et cetera. If somebody is truly a danger to themselves and others, the tool isn't the real problem.

Re: HB 2949 - Expedited Special License for Certain At-Risk Persons

You know, after they repeal 46.035 and give all LTC the same 46.03 exemption as LEO, I would fully support the legislature allowing applicants with a specific credible threat go to the front of the line ahead of earlier applicants facing general threats.

you call 911, you're going to be watching out for them....I know, I've done it. That's just odd behaviour. And if he thought there were still people in his house, what the heck was he doing in the house? Where does it say he called 911? This is a tragic event but if I'm in my own house, the alarm g...

Oklahoma is a much friendlier gun state than Texas is without a doubt.
With the Indian Reservstions I would think it would produce more prohibited carry.
It depends. I'm not related to Elizabeth Warren so that's not an issue for me. (435 U.S. 191)

We dont need this clown (Avocado) in charge of anything in our city.
As a clown, he makes Pennywise seem warm, cuddly, and benevolent.

Re: Eight Attorneys General to SCOTUS: Second Amendment Protects Suppressors Too

Have those Attorneys General issued opinions stating their states' laws on suppressors are unconstitutional?

Have they issued AG opinions that police who enforce state or federal gun laws are guilty of violating civil rights under color of law?

Retrofit? They want to flip off the switch.

Well, the off switch for your home, your office, your LGS. Their homes and offices are "essential" and will get waivers or ration cards or whatever mechanism they use to enforce their "lights for me but not for thee" policies.

Re: Houston firefighters pay raise

Hopefully the city of Houston will fund pay raises and bond repayment by raising sales tax rates, or by implementing a head tax on residents. It's only right for people who don't own property to pay their fair share of the bills, if they get to vote to raise spending. The best way to directly vote o...
