Re: Need help opening ports

Well, the problem is solved, but this is interesting. If I run a port check from one of the many websites, the ports I opened in the Tenda router show to be blocked. However, when I run a "port check" in the software I need to use, the check shows all five ports to be "ok" meaning they are open. :h...

Need help opening ports

I need to open five ports but I'm having trouble. I'm on Comcast/Xfinity using my own modem (Netgear CM700) and a Tenda AC15 (AC1900) router. I'm running Windows 10 and Norton Internet Security. I'm not sure if Windows Defender Firewall or Norton is causing the problem. I've tried the following to n...

Re: TX: Houston homeowner shoots intruder in legs

WHEN does it become unlawful entry justifying deadly force under castle doctrine? When the individual ATTEMPTS to breach the door (window, chimney, ventilator, etc), or when the individual BREACHES the door (etc., etc.)? Sec. 9.32. DEADLY FORCE IN DEFENSE OF PERSON. (a) A person is justified in usi...

Can't fine video of Troy Nehls

I can't find the thread with the video of Nehls speaking in church. Does anyone remember the thread? A search for Nehls didn't work.

Re: TSRA = Texas State Rifle Association. All Texas gun owners should join.

I need to clarify one thing. The NRA has a full time lobbyist living in Texas and working on our Second Amendment bills. She is not assigned to "help" TSRA. TSRA has one lobbyist, Mike Cox. who replaced Alice Tripp.

How in the world did anyone find 20,000 videos of gunfights? I wouldn't think there were that many recorded on video.

Re: RDS v. Iron Sights: Not just for old blind guys

This is an excellent read, including the full report linked in the article. As I've posted before, I'm absolutely sold on red dot sights on handguns. I have two 1911's and one CZ P-10C with Deltapoint Pro 7.5 MOA triangle RDS and I'll have more. I wish CZ would make some of their various 75s (like ...
