I'm at the airport heading back from NRA HQ. It will be over by the time I get to Hobby. This will be two in a row I missed because of the NRA. I hope to see everyone next month.
PM sent regarding January 3 breakfast.
I got it and I'll be there.

Re: "Criminal Motorcycle Gang" and LTC

Above all. 46.15(b)(6) make anything that 46.02 says non applicable to an LTC holder, so it does not matter what one word of it says. I disagree. In general, this is the rule and you would be correct. But there is two narrow cases where 46.02 does apply to to an LTC. I do not know if either is appl...

Re: "Criminal Motorcycle Gang" and LTC

I just read the article and the quote from Ch. 6's "legal expert." Her statement, while correct in very limited circumstances, is totally false as it applies to this particular case. "Legislative intent" is applicable only when 1) a statute is ambiguous; or 2) when two statutes are in conflict and t...

I use a different NRA non-profit: "Your charity, NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund , recently received a quarterly donation of $5,747.42 thanks to customers shopping at smile.amazon.com. To date, AmazonSmile has donated a total of: $91,316.93 to NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund." Under "Accounts & Lists" ...

Re: Has Sig Fixed P320's

Sig changed to a new red dot footprint they're calling "R2". Their new Romeo1Pro red dot fits this footprint which happens to be the same as Leopold's DeltapointPro. Does this mean a DeltaPoint Pro can be mounted directly to the slide without a mounting plate that would raise the RDS? Thanks, Chas....

Re: What Can Someone Tell Me About A Tavor

Just so we're clear, the question I raised regarding velocity was in regard to 75/77 gr. Open Tip Match bullets needing 2700 - 2750 FPS and a 1 in 8" twist or faster to effectively tumble and be accurate out to 300 yards. So what exactly did you answer? No - just so WE are clear, I wasn't talking a...

Re: Smith and Wesson releases M&P EZ in 9mm

Just picked mine up from GrabaGun. I’ll take it to the range tomorrow. It feels like it’s a few ounces heavier and the slide is slightly harder to rack, but it is new. It looks just like the 380 version and magazine looks the same as well. I’ll take it and my 380 EZ to range and shoot them side by ...

Re: Smith and Wesson releases M&P EZ in 9mm

I'm not sure how they make a 9mm slide any easier to rack. In .380ACP, the EZ is large for caliber, so the extra weight of the slide makes it possible to use a lighter recoil spring. No so for a 9mm. Chas. No offense intended, but I hope you are wrong about the 9mm version! I'm looking forwar...

Re: Smith and Wesson releases M&P EZ in 9mm

I bought my Daughter-In-Law a .380 EZ last year for Christmas. She really likes the gun. I'm not sure how they make a 9mm slide any easier to rack. In .380ACP, the EZ is large for caliber, so the extra weight of the slide makes it possible to use a lighter recoil spring. No so for a 9mm. Chas. Edite...

Re: What Can Someone Tell Me About A Tavor

I researched them a few months ago and this is what I learned. The trigger is typical for a bullpup - bad to terrible. However, there are aftermarket parts/triggers that make significant improvements. The deal-breaker for me was the lack of accuracy. The videos I've seen show 100 yd groups (or 100 y...

The Death of Europe

This 47 minute video is enlightening as to what is happening to Europe. Obviously, it has implications for the U.S. Here's an interesting observation made by Mr. Murray concerning European leaders' philosophy, " We end up summing up ourselves by our collectively worst moments [in history]." He strik...
