Count me in for the new place in Hudson Oaks on June 15.

Although they are cool with open carry, I'll try to restrain myself and will not bring an RPG. :-)

Good call - the place is a bit small for that.

Re: So What Do They Want?

I mean, yes, I understand that the radicals simply want full disarmament of private citizens. Simple as that. A few will openly state that as the ultimate goal, while most others who desire that end are smart enough to not state it openly, but work towards that goal nonetheless. Of course, they kno...

Re: DFW West/Southwest Quadrant Breakfast

as a newbie to this site I will try to be there and meet up with you all that attend. I like to make new friends. Especially ones that could have my back one day. I used to go there on Saturday mornings to meet up with car buddies, but they quit meeting there for whatever reason. I think I might en...

Re: DFW West/Southwest Quadrant Breakfast

I found a new open carry friendly breakfast cafe for our western division meetings: Manny's Cafe 4019 Fort Worth Hwy Hudson Oaks, TX 76087 It's a small cafe located in the David's Stove Shop building on the north side of westbound I20 at Mikus Road. There is minimal signage for the cafe, so look for...

Fascinating study with a lot to think about based on effects on adversary targets, not on chronographs or gelatin.

Re: S&W M&P 2.0 45ACP for sale

I was really thinking about picking up the full size model, but when I took a close look at the specs it appears the only dimensional difference between full size and the 1.0 compact (which I have) is .6 inch of barrel length. (The 2.0 compact hasn't been released yet in .45). This line is unusual i...

Re: Smith&Wesson M&P 2.0 3.6 Compact

This gun is an unheralded gem.

Very ergonomic design, great trigger, good round capacity, and a joy to carry at just a bit bigger than the Shield.

Re: S&W M&P 2.0 45ACP for sale

Are the 10 round magazines the same length as the 14 round ones? If not, and they fit your pistol, you may have the compact model. S&W site shows both full and compact sizes have 10+1 capacity 14 round mags have extended grip https://store.smith-wesson.com/m-p-45-mag-assy-14rd-black-39213 Thanks - ...

My surgeon told me today that I had lost 4 units of blood by the time he did the procedure.
You cut it close, old boy :grumble
Yes, really close.

I'm very glad God answered all our prayers on this one.

Have a speedy recovery!

I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious Amy. It is so hard to let one you loved so much go, even though the end of her suffering is also a blessing. My the Lord bring comfort and peace to you in your time of grief, and help you find his path for you going forward. Your work is not yet done....

Re: I think that's everyone now.

Congrats, Jusme! You are doing better than I. My younger brother is a retired USMC Lt Col. He got his own license in CO. Always the odd one, he carries a Glock something or other. ;-) In 2013, my wife and I took the CHL class. She now has a Walther PPS M2 Le. While she has had her own epiphany and ...
