Oh man-- My 650 has a casefeeder. That's gonna slow me down some.

Good point about electronic locks on safes, too.

Louie Gohmert should be in the running if entertainment is a qualification

Re: How much did what you wear change?

Added a Wilderness Instructor belt and relaxed fit levis jeans, rather than the regular 505 style. Same set of Hawaiian shirts :-) I did find that I needed to buy a size larger in most shorts.

I find the relaxed fit pants are loose enough to fit with my IWB holster without looking too baggy.

Re: Picking up casings at the range

indoor or outdoor ? Two of the outdoor ranges I shoot at are open bay-- no shooting line with multiple persons. I'll put down a small tarp. I've seen a manufactured "catcher" that looked like landscape or sun screen cloth with nice tidy edges. Indoor with lanes-- difficult as many bounce downrange. ...

Re: IDPA SO Recertification

I read over the new rule book, then took the test-- I didnt pass . Got a 76 if I recall. The questions I missed were generally about the new rules. A few missed ones caused me to smack myself-- I knew the right answer but misread the question. Studied up a bit over a few days. Passed in the 90s. Sev...

Re: Smoking a brisket...

New pit-- I suggest building a fire in it and let it burn/smoke for a while to season the pit before placing a brisket in there. One of the problems some pits have it their inability to maintain a constant temp. This causes one to constantly have to open the pit and stoke the fire. This results in i...

Re: how would you draw your gun with a dog?

We taught our dogs to walk on the left side, specifically to leave our right hands/sides clear. I even taught the wife to do so, too ;-) Our female boxer is fairly protective. She'll bow up a bit when someone approaches, but she's not aggressive. Although they're both in the 70 lbs each range, I wou...

Re: uh, the kid opened his car door!!!

Guy on I-10 west of Katy did that to me Friday afternoon. Dead stop traffic for a couple of minutes. Guy behind me took off to the right shoulder to cut in front me-- 1 whole car's worth of advancement. I didnt expect to see him to be doing that so I didnt give him any room--so he cuts in, then stop...

3.2-3.4g depending on a few factors might be really close. Until you get to chrono rounds out of a couple of batches, I wouldn't go any lower. I'd bring mine by one evening, but I don't have the indoor light kit.

Re: Company Halts Sale of Pressure Cookers in Mass. Stores

Once I finish my probation which consists of dinner out at wife's choice of location each Friday for ...ummm. some time to come-- can I then purchase these class III cooking devi...

We make a very similar dish. We use Joy Peppers, a bread-n-butter jalapenos along with some of the jar's juice. Joy Peppers are made in Austin. We get them online.

I'm going to have to try the smoked gouda-- yummmmmy.

Re: whole foods

In Texas, serving or selling isn't always a CHL deal breaker. Be cautious about other states though. Ask an attorney "Is xxx legal ?" questions. My thought is the question to our LEOs is "Why am I being stopped ? " and Yes or No answers. No offense meant to our LEOs :tiphat: --- IMO, their position ...
