Up front, the dealer may discontinue/refuse any transfer.

The 30 day thing seems to be related to the expiration of the search they performed with the FBI.

As stated above, I would go to another dealer.

If you can build an AR-15, then you can build an AR-10.

My suggestion would be to build it, this way you get the choose what goes into it.

I would highly recommend a barrel with a matching bolt.

Built mine a few years ago, it is a great shooter. I worked up a load with a 180 grain round that it likes very much.

I followed that up with another AR-10 build in 6.5 Creedmoor. It is a tack driver.
