Re: Need suggestion on how to proceed

I waited for mine for about half a year, finally I told them I wanted a court hearing because by law after 60 days if you don't hear anything then it means it's denied. They approved it and overnighter it to me the next day

Re: Pleasure Pier Galveston

Yes, the signage still up on left side when you walk up to the ramp. We almost went on it last weekend while down there for a meeting. However at $20/couple just to walk on, we went back and had drinks at Fish Tales instead. Well that's misleading as all get out! Thanks for letting me know, though....

Necro post is Necro. Anyone know if it's still posted? The texas3006 still says it's posted but the pleasure pier website, under prohibited items says "Unlicensed possession of a concealed weapon"

Re: Sign, sign, sign - what's the point in requiring your signature so much?

It's a conspiracy with ball point pen manufacturer's they are paying kickbacks and the politicians are in on it. Doctors asking about guns?

I've heard of this before but until right now I've never actually seen it. My wife filling out paperwork for a new obgyn and it was asked on the new patient forms. I told her not to answer it she said she was just going to check no because she didn't feel like listening to anything from the doctor l...

Re: Veteran's Day

A little off topic. I'm at Texas Roadhouse right now for my dinner and I can't help but think this is probably not only a gathering of veterans but also a gathering of chl holders. There were 4 vets with 4 CHLs at my table at Texas Roadhouse, myself included. (BTW, free meals, but we left a $25 tip...

Re: Learned something today.

Yes, I got the Navy plates last year. DD214. Application. Picked them up in person in Lewisville. It was painless. They have a version for honorably discharged and one without the words honorably discharged. I personally like the plain ones without honorable discharge. Go Navy! I felt the same way,...

Been out of the Navy for 13 years and just yesterday I learned they have us Navy license plates you can get for free (I like keep free so I ordered one). I mean they have them for the lesser branches of service too if you were unfortunate enough to be in one of those. :biggrinjester: Just thought th...
