Re: The Donald's fence - have you seen the one in CA?
Here is a wild idea. I know it sounds crazy but why not put the illegal immigrants in jail when they are caught? I would imagine about two years working on the roads and parks the first time they are caught would be somewhat of a deterrence. Five years the second time and ten years the third time. W...

Re: R. Lee Ermey joins Sheriff's Office, adopts Louisiana Accent
“Heathen is a religious term” (ACLU) That’s quite a stretch. Heathen is the antithesis of a religious term. noun derogatory noun: heathen; plural noun: heathens 1. a person who does not belong to a widely held religion (especially one who is not a Christian, Jew, or Muslim) as regarded by those who ...

Re: Gun control group claims suppressors are ‘threat to public safety’
I guess it is a pretty stupid question but I would like to get just a small glimpse of what goes on inside the head of a gun grabber. I have pretty good insurance that would pay for therapy for me if necessary.

Re: Gun control group claims suppressors are ‘threat to public safety’
Do you think the VPC, MDA and the Brady Campaign actually believe the propaganda they put out, or do you think they put it out knowing it is half truth and flat out lies?

Re: Gun control group claims suppressors are ‘threat to public safety’
I have to wonder if the VPC actually believes that household gun ownership is “declining”. Do they believe their own propaganda?
It seems to me that if they realized how badly they are losing they would give up and try to find another way to destabilize the country for communism.

Re: On alert
On alert here. 45 on my hip & shotgun beside me. Patrol cars driving around shining lights & helicopter flying around shining light. Don’t know what’s up but prepared. I do the same thing when there's that kind of activity in the neighborhood, but with an M4 instead of a shotgun. So far, th...
Re: On alert
All is quiet this morning. Heard the helicopter go over a few more times. We probably will never know what was going on because we live in a rural area.

Re: On alert
Well, the search moved West about two miles so I assume the area is clear. My wife and I will be 70 in July and we live in a semi-rural area. I don’t feel like playing hostage tonight so I will keep the hardware within reach until morning.

Re: Arrested for Illegal Airsoft Gun
If I was born in New Jersey, I would never forgive my parents. I would have probably first tried to run away from home at the age of four. BB guns have to be registered with the state and it is a mandatory 3 year minimum sentence for having an Airsoft gun. It never ceases to amaze me how stupid peop...

Re: FL: Dispatcher sends police to wrong home 9 rounds fired
Guys, the unbelievable fact is that trained police officers fired through a door, window, wall...whatever it was. They had no regard for what or who was in the house. Our police officers have a hard job and I know and work with several officers. Unfortunately, we are hearing more and more stories o...

Re: FL: Dispatcher sends police to wrong home 9 rounds fired
And the paid leave thing bothers me every time... "Innocent until proven guilty" Yeah, but for almost any other job, it does not work that way. :iagree: Being involved in a deadly force incident with rounds fired is a bit different than mouthing off to a customer or making an inappropriat...

Re: Dr doesn't want to see me anymore
I didn’t have much confidence in doctors in general for good reasons before the following incident. I have major back problems and chronic pain in my left leg. A pain management doctor insisted I have a “pain pump” implanted. He made arrangements and a surgeon implanted the device. As I hadn’t recei...
