Re: WTB - .32 ACP Dies

I have a Lee set, carbide, 90622. They're in the older, round, vertical plastic box, not the newer, flat, rectangular one. I don't think they've ever been used.

$250 million? I don't know how Bezos will ever afford that now that isn't getting $3 billion from AOC.

Re: National Conceal-Carry. No Hope

I agree with not needing any new laws. What we need is the supreme court to strike down the unconstitutional laws that are in place now.

I think the parking lot law only applies to employees, not to visitors or anybody else.
That is my understanding too, and that it does not apply to contractors either.
TDCJ has the same policy as above in both the volunteer handbook and visitor guidelines.

You can find TDCJ's policy here https://www.tdcj.texas.gov/connections/ ... 20no5.html
Officers should be familiar with policy, as it applies to them and to visitors.

Re: 30.06 Ruling Letters

I think this is good news. However, why are the fines so low? Why threaten with huge fines if the State is not going to use them? The judge ruled that there was only evidence of violations during 6 days. This sounds like a weak judge to me doing everything he or she can to lessen the penalty on the...

Re: 30 % of Texad ISDs Allow Teachers to Carry

I believe the headline is a little misleading. There is a difference between having select faculty members who are armed and trained for school security, and allowing teachers to carry.

Re: S&W K-frame Round Butt vs Square Butt

People have trimmed square ones to make them round, although I don't think it's very common. The serial number is on the butt and that adds to the complication/trepidation.

Re: Incredible account of Parkland shooting

Functional security doesn't require great expense. It does require people to pay attention and act responsibly. Broward County Schools failed at that years before this kid started shooting. Historically, when many shooters of this type were faced with an armed response, they were killed, immediately...

Re: Incredible account of Parkland shooting

I went back through the Sun Sentinel's site and read through some of the related articles. It appears that some school district personnel are finally feeling the heat as well. Their nonchalant, or event nonexistent, security policies and practices, as well as their failure to manage student behavior...

Ten years and counting. As mentioned earlier, the going gets easier - you just have to keep going.

Re: Death to Moon Clips (Maybe)

If it turns to catch the rim, then all six cartridges would have to be placed accurately in their chamber before turning it. Correct, or am I missing something? Seems like it would be tricky to load without dropping some too far in.

Re: Concealed holsters

I'll second the recommendation for a good gun belt if you don't already have one. I like a holster that places the trigger at the same level as the belt - it keeps the grip pulled in. Can you adjust, possibly modify, your Alien Gear to ride lower? What are you carrying?

Enjoy!
