Re: Carrying your license to carry

(Rant begin) :grumble I can't believe the number of people that come into our store that "forgot" their wallets ! I can't believe the number of people that leave home without their wallet! I'll soon be turning 76 years young and I can't remember ever forgetting my wallet. My car keys, pocket knife,...

I got a text a few days ago from the O'Rourke camp asking how I was going to vote.
Whenever I am asked how I will vote, my answer is always the same: "By secret ballot!"

Re: Medical Facilities

I think I've visited an extraordinary number of medical facilities as of late, both for myself and my folks, and I made a conscious effort to observe the many differences. First off - I saw that most doctor's offices I visited inside a medical building are not posted and stand alone offices are pos...

Re: Medical Facilities

In my experience, virtually any healthcare or medical related facility will be posted. Doctors have to have enough individual variety that this isn't a coincidence. There must be some mandate somewhere. Does anyone know where? Not in my experience. I never carry at a doctor's office where I will ne...

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

So besides a phone call last night on my cell phone. This morning a young 28 ish couple with their 18 month old baby, knocked on the door and asked if I would be voting for Beto. They took note on a clip board. They were going to every house. I tell these people that it's non of their business. In ...

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

A few questions come to mind; How did she enter the wrong apartment? Was it unlocked? Were the locks so ineffective that any key unlocks any door? I agree, something doesn't smell right.

I'm not entirely certain if my question is germane, but here goes: Think my Cabelas credit card would be problematic next time I buy a firearm from Cabelas? Not sure but, I think Cabelas switched their credit cards away from b of a, I don't have theirs. :txflag: :patriot: "On September 25 , 2017, C...

While it should read “chambers” that makes for an awkward sentence. I’m just impressed that the journalist didn’t note that the revolvers clip was fully loaded. Also impressed that the journalist didn't call it a fully-automatic revolver. :rolll Maybe it was a semi-fully-automatic revolver.

It also makes it more difficult if you don't have windows in the door. None of my overhead doors have windows.
If you do have windows and want the light, apply one-way mirror film.

Re: iPhone autocorrect is anti-gun

On top of that, the I Phone or Google maps is, in my opinion, getting kickbacks from NTTA. Every time I enter an address for directions, it automatically takes me to a route that has a toll road on it. Even if there are shorter, quicker routes. You can tell google maps to "Avoid tolls". I do not kn...
