Re: A LETTER TO THE OWNER OF BACHMAN PAWN AND GUNS

+1 for Ammo Depot. "Insanely friendly" is 150% accurate. They are incredibly helpful and don't treat any question as "stupid". Trust me, I know. I'll never darken the door at B&S again. I wanted new night sights for my Sig. They would order exactly what I wanted, but I had to pay first. I don't have...

Re: My New Kimber (with apologies to USA1)

Why would you want what appears to be a plastic follower? I know this question is directed to TAM but here's my take, maybe TAM can confirm or deny. Plastic followers glide more smoothly inside the steel magazine. Here's a snipit taken from Wilson Combat... Fiber-Fill Nylon Self-Lubricating Followe...

Re: Noob here..."Hi" and a question

Thanks again, all. One more question. It seems as though my schedule is clearing up and I may be able to take a CHL class tomorrow offered by a local LEO. As the class is tomorrow, should I still fill-out an online application? Ken I would say "yes". However, it does not matter whether you do the o...

All y'all be sure to also check out Cobra Mags . I bought 3 of them for my 5" Springfield, and they are great magazines... ...a little pricey , but well worth the cost in my opinion. http://www.trippresearch.com/css/images/8r45rg.png Order them with these followers: http://www.trippresearch.com/PDG...

Did your auto-correct go bonkers there?
No. Why? :headscratch

If I can't laugh at myself, what's the point? ;-)

Re: New DPS Procedures

I just received my plastic last week (7/6) and there was nothing else in the envelope but the white card that held the license.

It took exactly 40 days from the time DPS received my packet until I had my license. Pretty good in my book!

It should be sooner than that.

Mine went "Manufacturing Pending" on 6/30. Two days later (7/2) it changed to "Mailed".

I received my plastic on 7/6.

Re: Texas Raised, moved to Kentucky and now...

But in order for my Texas CHL to be right (address updated), I had to get a Kentucky DL. Sent a copy of Ky DL to Texas, CHL updated with new address. Then another updated Tx CHL (within a week  )was sent to me with new Ky DL number on it. That I didn't have to initiate. I spent 22 years in t...

Re: Double checking after class

I took the class back in October, then immediately got busy procrastinating about sending it in. I finally got off my tail and applied on-line on 5/23. I put the package together ONLY sending what was on the checklist. I put it in a new envelope and used the address on the checklist. I sent it in on...

There won't be any questions. He hit the back of your car, so he looses unless you were backing up.

I've been on both sides of that coin. You win.

Re: It's a good thing I'm not married any more!

Got an address for this place? An address won't help very much, but here's the website: http://www.mickeysammodepot.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Down on the bottom right hand corner of the page is a "Click here for map" link to Google Maps. The store isn't exactly where the m...
