Re: My “truck” gun is...
Well I don't really have a truck. I have Honda Pilot and an Accord. My "Truck Gun" is my Ruger P95. It's a tough gun, and I don't worry about it if it rolls around a little in a console or side pocket. Accurate, reliable, The Stainless and plastic is as weatherproof as it gets. If it picks...

I loved the New Orleans sculpture park is nice, but there are a few avoidable nude bronze statues. Shallow beaches with lttle surf Biloxi are ni...

Re: Which DA/SA gun would you carry?
I Depend on 3 different traditional DA/SA Weapons. 1: is my 9mm Beretta Storm Sub Compact. It is my everyday carry. It fits into DeSantis Nylon #77 holster. The Subcompact designation might be considered a bit of a misnomer. The 13+1 capacity mags are adequate, Is a soft shooter. 2: is a Ruger KP95....

Re: 1911 C&L VS SA
There is one other option which I feel is the safest platform of them all. THe exposed hammer DA/SA with manual safety. Once one has carried one of these for a decade or too, It can be pretty uncomfortable packing anything else.

Re: I guess its bad to be named Karen now.
https://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2020/07/17/roseville-urination-verizon-arrest/ A Karen who works at a Verizon store in Sacramento calls police about 3 people in the store who won't wear a mask and won't leave. Re: Current fingerprinting logjam in DFW
I had to get a TWIC card renewal in June, I called Identigo and had an appointment the next day. I assume the backlog would be the same for fingerprint IDs.. They do take walk-ins Apparently Texas City is faster for making appointnets Depends on where you are. Some municipal areas are busier than o...

Re: Wearing a mask while LTC
I had to go to the bank the other day. It is local a block away, and they probably recognize me as a familiar face. I walked there, armed but concealed, wearing a fishing type hat, properly masked when I walked in and wearing darkened self-darkening glasses. I cashed and deposited some checks. It fe...

Probably not great for outdoors. Kevlar is pretty good at resisting fire, gunfire and such, but it deteriorates rather quickly with sunshine and UV exposure.

Re: Self-Defense / Tactical Pens
Staples had one of the Zebra pens nearby me, so I picked up one of those to start with. Nice pen, writes moderately at best. Feels pretty sturdy. I’ll probably get some of the Fisher repacked pen refills that are supposed to work in this pen. Reviews on those in this pen are pretty good. For $8 you...
