Re: "Friendly Advice" - REALLY?

My inlaws are retired LEOS from another state. He's well over 6ft and a big guy and she doesn't even hit 5ft and is a little bitty thing. He made a comment to me once that he wasn't "going to mess with her, she's a better shot!" She just nodded and smiled... :fire

OK, that is laughable a FUD (Fear Uncertainty Doubt) campaign! In several places they even contradict themselves!

Re: Parking lot law SB321

Fair enough but there are two points that can be questioned: (ii) that is not open to the public; and (iii) the ingress into which is constantly monitored by security personnel. A gate, like a fence around your home, would seem to indicate private property and not open to the public. A single camera...

Parking lot law SB321

Ok, so we got the parking lot law passed but with a very big caveat: It does not apply to restriced access parking lots! All an emlpoyer has to do is put the basic raisable gate on the interest and the parking lot is now "restricted access!" The whole point of passing the law was so peole did not ha...

Re: CHL as ID (Pass) for TSA?

OK, so I have actually asked TSA this ame question as I travel alot. Some said yes, but only in Texas where I would suspect the folks I spoke with knew what it was. Some said no, particularly out of state.. It probably does not have the same embedded authorization marks a DL has.

On the Texas Legislature web site HB681 is listed as "Relating to the forfeiture of good conduct time from inmates who file frivolous applications for writ of habeas corpus." http://www.legis.state.tx.us/billlookup/History.aspx?LegSess=79R&Bill=HB681" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Do...

Re: Action Needed: Employer Parking Lots

I work for a large company in Houston that has about 7000 employees here. Estimated at 20% CHL that's lot of guns in the parking lot against California head quarter's company policy! We need this bill to pass!

Re: Open Carry News Tidbit

My understanding was that only "intentional" flashing of my CCW was illegal and a wind blown shirt flashing the weapon was not brandishing. Am I wrong?
