Looking for a small 9mm

I've currently got a Sig P238 which I love, but I'm kind of wanting a 9mm. I want something small and light enough for edc. I looked at the kimber solo today but after looking at reviews, not sure it's worth the money. But I loved the size, weight, and feel of it. Any recommendations for something c...

Re: my thigh holster

Awesome! Thanks for posting! What are these "gripper strips" you mentioned? I've considered making an elastic band style holster like this but worried the elastic wouldn't be rigid enough over the trigger guard. I carry a Sig P238 and it's a little bit bigger than the lcp. I'll have to fin...

Re: concealed carry and new job

Ok thanks everyone. I didn't know if I should say anything or not. Looks like I will keep quiet about it.

Re: Question about carry purses

So for those of you that have made thigh holsters, how do you keep it from sliding down? I made a leather one with elastic straps that are adjustable, but unless I cut off circulation I just don't trust it to stay up.

Question about carry purses

So maybe this should be in the ladies section, but being this is a pretty general question, I felt men's opinions would be helpful too. Anyhow, I'm typically anti purse carry for myself. I don't like the delays that come with a purse draw, and having two young children I don't like the idea of my we...

concealed carry and new job

So I have an interview this week for a new job. It's a job in a small coffee shop owned by a friends parents and managed by another friend. If I get the job I'd like to be able to carry while working, but don't know how to go about asking. I don't believe the owners or manager are anti gun, but I kn...

Re: A cuationary tale, with an ask for help... LONG!

Every story I see on here prompts a what if scenario for me to play in my head. Usually at night when I should be sleeping. Lol. Anyhow, my husband and I haven't stayed in a hotel room since either of us got our chl's (gotta love being poor!) But this story proves that the best bet would be to store...

Re: First carry successful

Thanks all! As open as we are with our kids (5&7) about guns, we don't like them knowing when we're carrying simply because I know them well enough to know they will let the cat out of the bag at the most inopportune time. As far as the church hugs, I'm not a touchy feely person, but being a wom...

First carry successful

I got my chl in the mail today. I had actually just come home from Walmart and didn't plan to go anywhere until I realized I forgot some things. Went to heb with 2 young kids in tow. I've been carrying around the house for weeks now and I didn't feel weird until I got in the car. I felt like I was d...

Re: March 2014 Applications

I think mine took four days. And I would imagine since they listed the proof of citizenship complete they've got it. So you could wait a few days to see if the complete your background check gets completed or go ahead and call to be sure they got it. Just be ready for a lengthy hold time. Maybe dvr ...

Re: Show your DIY Ideas and Projects

Nice job! I was gonna post pics of the holsters I've made, but I'm not following that post up! Lol! My stuff looks like kindergarten crafts compared to yours! Thanks. I'm still practicing and growing my tool collection. I had no idea how many little tools this leather tooling requires. I'll be maki...

Updated to mailed today! Seems as though most people's plastics take about a week to arrive. So hopefully early next week I'll have it. :hurry:
