Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray

Have to wonder what connection, if any, does Goines or the other officers involved have to the residents of the house? What reason is there for filing an alleged false warrant? It also appears there are 3 officers involved - Goines, Bryant and the other officer who instructed the CI to get the heroi...

Re: Help me decide: 1-4x Scopes

I went with a Trijicon 1.25-4x24 (going from memory) several years ago and have been very happy with it. I found on craigslist for a really good price. acquisition is fast even with 4x magnification. I wanted one with 1x-4x, but the 1.25x helps my sad aging eyes If you can find one, you can't beat t...

Re: Air Travel Update

I flew round trip from DFW to Charlotte this week with AA. No issues locally, other than annoyed about the BSO tag on my checked bag. But the process was quick and I was not asked for my cell number. On return from CLT it was more of a hassle. After checking my bag (and adding name & number to ...

Re: Air Travel Update

It's not just United Airlines. Wife and I flew AA to North Carolina in November 2018. I checked in on-line 24 hours pre-flight, no issues. When I checked my firearm in at DFW, all went smooth. No issues. Flew and luggage was no problem However: On the return flight, I could not check in on-line. Si...

Re: Gillette: The Best an Incel Can Get

I have not seen the commercial on TV except for in "news" stories. I think P&G released this to the web in hopes it would go viral and get the buzz for the brand by creating a controversy and it worked

Re: Online Backup Service ?

I use BackBlaze and it saved my bacon a few times. Recommend. can download backup files and select the ones you want or get the entire backup on a drive that you can buy or return. Previously used Carbonite, was more difficult and expensive. Using a local backup on external drive ONLY may result in ...

Re: Amazing Pictures of the WWII Atomic weapons

Who here knows where the bomber training was done for the crews that would deliver the bombs? I have been to that area numerous times during my enlistment. If you are referring to where they tested the drops and improved the accuracy - Naval Air Facility Salton Sea, CA Watched a History channel or ...

Re: Must Barrell Ends Be Threaded To Accept A Suppressor?

Abraham, I also have a MP15-22 there is a flash hider threaded on, BUT I have been warned to remove with care. S&W has those buggers on there very tight - make sure to put the barrel in a vice block and not just the receiver, you only want the flash hider to move and not the barrel. I have not r...
