Re: Half Price Records & Books--30.06/30.07
TexasGal, Other than the waiting threads, I think I read almost every thread. That said, if you've already written a thread about the attempted mugging you experienced, O.K., I guess I just don't remember it. If you have'nt written about it, would you please? Thanks! It's in this old thread: http:/...

"... but it's her business she can run it how she pleases." That is the beauty of freedom. It's also our right to spend money where it pleases as well. I wish her well and respect her rights. But my money will now go elsewhere. I was a regular customer and my holstered concealed firearm w...

Re: Met the first 30.06 I disliked.
At least at some of them, you can carry a knife concealed. The county hospitals I have been to want even those left in the car. I took my son to JPS ER late one night in Fort Worth. I left my firearm in the truck, but didn't think about my EDC kershaw. We had to go through an inspection where the ni...

What a shame! I liked that range and everyone was always nice when I used it. They have my sympathy and hopes for a speedy rebuild!

Re: Anyone watch the 4th democrat debate
I saw clips on the 10:00pm news and it's clear that all Democrats are solidly in the "gun ban" camp. That makes a clear cut choice in November. Chas. Yep. I've been registered as a democrat my entire adult life. This year will be the first time that I don't vote for them in the presidenti...

Re: Anyone watch the 4th democrat debate
I think that is because he offered the most free stuff someone else would pay for. I didn't watch the other dem debates and now I know why. It's hard on the blood pressure. The delusional ideas and the rabid anti-gun rhetoric along with shameless pandering to gullible low income voters was sickening...

Re: Do you carry at home?
Yes. My firearm is either on my person or in easy reach at all times. And I never answer the door without it. If someone is at the door we don't know, my husband and I are both armed and stay out of each other's line of fire just in case. We have had some cases of people at our door that were up to ...

Re: Obama on CNN tonight
So...if I was going to be held up for a public lambasting but I could only come if I agreed to answer only one question, I would not go either. It would be a joke meant to make me look even worse. Obama set that up to do exactly what happened, keep the NRA away so he could claim he invited them. Not...

Re: CNN poll on expanded background checks
The way they worded that seems for the intent to create an impulse to vote no. I have never seen these "polls" put out there by the anti's publicly revealed when the polls went in favor of guns.
