Re: France

B”H I lived two long and miserable years in France, and thank G-d not in Paris. :mad5 To make short, the only thing good there is the cheese. USA and Australia make better wines now. Cannot buy guns without the approval from the chief of local police, not the City, but the police stain from your nei...

Re: First Time to Pull My Gun

A 3 D-cell or 4 D-cell MagLite can serve double duty as both flashlight and club, if need be. It will also survive being dropped or thrown, if you need to free a hand for any reason. Glad it turned out OK for you and your dog. You handled it well, IMO. B”H Although never had the problem, I always t...

Re: Glock internals questions

I am a fan of Glock's "-" connector. They don't call it a 3.5lb connector anymore, because it doesn't really get the trigger pull down to 3.5lbs, more like 4 - 4.5. I put a steel recoil rod in mine, but that is purely cosmetic, IMHO. And I like the extended slide catch. I don't like the f...

At Church....and school?

B"H Good day y'all! Yes, I also carry at my temple, but I ask you the following: Imagine that at the chrch/temple grounds also there is a school that offer junior to 8th grade during normal hours (8-3PM). Assume you share the building for prayers and classes. 1) Can you carry inside that bldg d...

B"H I glue my elbows to my hips and hug with the forearms. Not the full on hug they were expecting, but better then nothing. That is my approch. I just glue my right arm along my G23, so any hug goes over my right side and no problem. :coolgleamA: "medical device" it is from now on. :...

I bought mine back in 98 from Academy (Cannon brand). It is not fire protected, and I paid about 700 delivered and bolted. I’ve seen the same price with fire protection on both Academy and Sam’s. And it is for 14 guns.

Since my first CHL (1998) I've been stopped twice. First the HPD officer did not even ask for the gun. Second, th e constable just asked where it was. Both were very nice and professional.
