Re: Looking for a GP100 or Smith 686 WTT

I have a 4" GP100 in excellent condition that I would be interested in training, but I am, unfortunately no where near San Angelo. If you are going to find yourself in the Houston/College Station/Huntsville/etc. area anytime soon, shoot me a PM or e-mail me at barre_sandersonATyahooDOTcom, and ...

Re: Police: Woman fatally shot at Pa. gun shop

The trigger pull force is more than the weight of the pistol. Kel-Tecs are DAO pistols, and their trigger p...

Re: 9 Days to Parking Lot - Poll

I don't know how it will affect me. My employer doesn't currently have a policy, but we are in the process of being bought out by another company based in Georgia, IIRC. I am hoping there will be little or no change in policies in this regard, but i can't predict the future (if I could, I wouldn't n...

Re: School Parking lot again

Do they have a "Policy" to search cars at random? I don't know if the school district in question has a policy stating as much, but it is quite common (at least here) for the PD to bring dogs through the parking lot sniffing for drugs and guns. I had an acquaintance who was arrested for h...

Re: Police Seek Robbers In Baseball Bat Beatings

A gun beats a bat, every time, if deployed in time. ... and aimed correctly so that the BG ceases their attack immediately, and positioned so that it won't hit the bat first... I doubt a bullet would have much energy left after going through 3" of solid hardwood. This one would be an interesti...

Re: High School Sporting Event Question

My son's Little League team is made up of kids from the elementary schools in the area. Does that make their games a school sporting event? No. Just because school (ISD/CSD) boundaries are used to determine what pool of kids a team can select from doesn't make the teams school teams. If there is no ...

the firearms are priced for cash or check, credit card is 3% more. They lost a $500-plus gun sale to me because of this policy, which was not disclosed to me until I removed the card from my wallet. :grumble Wonder if VISA/Mastercard folks are aware of their store policy? Goes against the card compa...

Did you ask him how to bring it to their attention when everyone you e-mailed or talked to on the phone kept saying "give it another couple of weeks?" :banghead:

DVR'ed it and got to watch it last night. I enjoyed it. I often wish I could try some of the challenges they do on that show. My boys love to watch it with me, so that makes it even better.

Am I currently overdrawn at that bank? "rlol" "rlol" "rlol" If I can do so without being noticed, I would likely draw and lay down over my hand/pistol and try to be a good witness. Then, if things head south and the situation becomes life or death and not a simple mone...
