I go to the range to shoot. I think a coffee shop or bar or restaurant is a better place to have conversations and get to know people.

Since it doesn't seem like you can go anywhere these days without some official or quasi-official request for "Your papers, please...", I think I'm going to get one of those US State Dept Passport Cards. They're wallet size vs. walking around with my US passport book. I have one of those....

I would have called 911 to report the unsafe driving. Who knows? Driving like that they might have been drunk or fleeing after robbing a bank.

What type of FFL do you want to get? Type 3 is easier than a Type 1 or Type 7, for example.

Also, you don't need any FFL to own NFA firearms.

According to BATFE it would probably still be a firearm. After all, a stripped lower is a firearm according to BATFE.
