Re: Nobody but Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
ERCOT is currently running at $9,000.00 /MWh and has been since Sunday night. So ERCOT’s average rate doesn’t impress me that much at the moment. I heard this the other night. How will this impact the consumer? Will we get $10,000 electric bills or something? This doesn't smell right. Prices are go...

Re: House Dems Introduce Bill To ‘Abolish Electoral College’
This is one of several reasons I am opposed to a constitutional convention of the states. Too many people believe the myth that there will be controls over what will or will not be heard.
I don't believe this even gets out of congress.

Re: ‘Sheriff, hurry up please.’ Disabled Florida man battles intruder as cops wait down the street.
This article highlights something else really well. This man was not psychologically prepared to shoot someone.
He had a gun. He REALLY didn't want to use it. I wonder if the perp had actually gained entry, would he have pulled the trigger?

Nice.
I can't see the pics, but that may be because of my work computer. I'm just happy the website isn't blocked.

Two states are not winner take all in the EC. Nebraska and Maine. I think it should be like that across the board.

Re: Business owners protecting property from looters and rioters
I would suggest to the car dealership to fight to rejection. His argument should/response should be since the local government is not calling it riots or domestic terrorism, it would have to be a simple case of vandelism. Peaceful protestors could not be terrorists. WOW. I almost lost me breakfast ...

Trump wins-- Some crying, moaning, gnashing of teeth. Maybe some protests.
Biden wins-- Some crying, moaning, gnashing of teeth. Massive run on 9mm, 556, .223 ammo. Again.

My wife is taking a few college course to finish up her degree. What was said in on class, Government, was that there are more registered democrats in Texas then republicans. Houston, DFW and Austin account for the majority. What we have to count on is the large amount of people registered as indep...

Re: Plano, TX mother of two killed during her regular morning run
I have friends who live in that area. We are all avid runners, and we have run that section of trail on several occasions. It scares the mess out of me that my (female) friend runs there alone during her early morning runs during the week. Do you know which section of trail it was and which side of...

Re: Plano, TX mother of two killed during her regular morning run
I run this same trail 4x a week. I was on this trail Saturday morning, but it was a short run and probably not on the same section. I'm getting to know the trail regulars but it gets used by a lot of people. I rarely see a woman on the trail by herself. I started running here after the second time I...

Re: Texas Lawmakers Sue Gov. Abbott over Contact Tracing Deal
Contact tracing has been used for a very long time as a public health measure to slow or stop the spread of many communicable diseases. It in no way impinges an anyone's freedoms.
