Re: Dog attack in St. Petersburg - OK to Shoot Attacking Dog ?

Is a dog capable of inflicting death or serious bodily injury?

He would go door to door and take them all if he could.

Easily the most Anti-2nd Amendment Peace Officer I have ever seen or heard of.

As far as moving far west goes, where do you think he came from?

Put the people responsible for securing them, and are not securing them, in jail or prison and these tragedies will stop.

Period.

In the interest of keeping this forum clean I will not comment on what I think of the Clinton News Network.

Re: Gen 1 Glock 27 Value

Are you sure this is a Gen 1 Glock 27? To my knowledge the only Gen 1 Glocks produced were Glock 17s and a very few Glock 19s. A Gen 1 Glock has the "speckled" finish all the way around the grip with no checkering front or back and no finger grooves. To my knowledge Glock 27s start at Gen ...

Re: HB 497 - Add Types and Uses of Ammunition to Required LTC Course Curriculum

IME most novice handgun shooters buy the cheapest ammunition they can find, and that is usually round nose lead for revolvers and FMJ for semiautos. The mindset with most of them is, "It worked well for training and qualification, why wouldn't it work well for carry?" I applaud all instruc...

Re: 308 deer rifle?

Any of the models mentioned so far will work great, and any of the models mentioned with a load the rifle likes will probably shoot MOA or better.

My favorite is the Remington 700.

Re: NEW Military 6.8mm rifle

I honestly don't see how a 6.8 anything can do the things they are claiming. They could just issue Mk262 to everybody and save about a bajillion dollars of taxpayer money. It would increase the effectiveness of the M16/M4/M249 etc. Since the GWOT pretty much every bad guy I have seen in footage from...

Re: Best Gun for Home Defense

I’d be OK with pistol, AR, or shotgun, but my biggest fear is actually doing more damage to my hearing by discharging a gun inside my house, which is why my primary HD weapon has become a suppressed G17 loaded with 147 grain subsonics. All my ARs can also be suppressed, but they’re still a lot loud...

Tough As Nails. I have had several of their stocks for bolt action rifles and shotguns. Another vote for the .338 Winchester Magnum, mine would be loaded with 250 Grain Nosler Partitions.

Enjoy your hunt.
