WTS: M1 Garand package deal
I'm selling off the guns that I don't shoot any more, so the first one to go will be my M1 Garand and all it's associated gear . This is a complete package with just about anything you could want to take this boomer out and use it without any fussing. Note that it was a CMP rifle and has had parts r...

Am interested in the Glock 17. I assume it's still available? Send me a PM when you're able.

Re: Wife Sick with Cancer.
PET scans aren't so bad, certainly less of a pain than most others. Can't scratch anything the whole time, though. On the cool side, if she gets similar radiation treatments as I did, she'll get to carry around a yellow card indicating she's not a dirty bomb or something. FYI, they make you turn it ...

Just Right Carbine 45ACP, KeyMod (Upgraded + mags) **SOLD**
Asking $550. Cleaning out safe with guns I just don't shoot. Lightly used JRC in 45ACP, with about 350 rounds down the pipe. This is the GEN3 version to which I've added the quick-release dis-assembly system for pulling out the bolt for quick cleaning. Rifle has the keymod forearm that has full-leng...

Re: Shortened FAL
Nice. I'd have to check, but I THINK mine is 18". Works great. Kinda like the best of the long and shorter barrels DSA makes.

Re: AR15 Gunsmith
Thanks, guys. I did a bunch more research and still can't figure out why it's not cycling. Rather than have a rifle that I'm unsure of, I went ahead and got a new lower and a couple of new parts for it (ex. buffer tube, spring, weight). I know it is the lower because I asked someone to swap two other...

AR15 Gunsmith
Have had some issues with my RRA AR15 with it holding open after last round. I've spent about a month debugging it and another 2 weeks at another gun shop and still no fix. I work on the west side of town (~BW8 and Westheimer) and live in Sealy, so somebody on the west side is a must. I really don't...

Re: FAL flash hider swap
Thanks, guys. I know the FAL isn't the best platform for suppressing, but the can should help a bit (both for sound, flash, and recoil). I'm really looking forward to it. Gettin' kinda fidgety about it, actually. C'mon stamp!

Re: AK trigger upgrade - Geiselle AKT
Holy smokes....3.5# short reset trigger on AK? What would be awesome would be to pass it to someone who's got a less than stellar view of the platform and see their reaction when they give it a pull.

FAL flash hider swap
Guys, I've got a DSA metric FAL which I put a SE vortex type flash hider on. The old one popped off without a hitch and as per SE instructions, didn't torque the new flash hider on too much at all (the twist angle of the tines produces a tightening torque every time you shoot it). So I now have a su...

Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?
I have a supressor laying in wait, so I looked up how to load for subsonic. I did some factory 185gr 308 a couple of weeks ago, and then my Lyman 185gr mold showed up. Yay. Casted up and powder coated some of the 308s and 9mm. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/mhiscock/Reloading/Boolits/2015122...

Re: It's time in Texas for bullet casting..!!(For me)
I was the same way last weekend. However, I was distracted by double-header hockey games on broadcast TV. I get it while I can here in SE Texas!
