Re: NRA Life Membership Promotion - ASAP!

I missed out on the first go around, but would love to take advantage of this! If anyone is willing to act as a sponser, I would greatly appreciate it! Let's keep the NRA going strong and continue to fight for our 2nd amendment rights across the nation!

Re: Pulled Over Outside of Texas?

Obviously the CHL comes up when a TX LEO runs your license, but is the same true in other states?

Re: Belts: Wilderness Tactical vs. 5.11

I have had both and like the Wilderness Tactical Instructor better than the 5.11. Both are very similar, I just happen to like the buckle better on the Wilderness, you will also have the option to do a three stich, five stich, or the plastic stiffener depending on how stiff you'd like the belt to be...

Re: Primer/Firing Pin Question...

I have a 1911 and a Glock and have noticed the same thing as you from my brass. I had always assumed that it was the ejector that caused the difference, but appreciate the insight into the difference in firing pins. A few pictures, not the best, but they may help clarify: http://i303.photobucket.com...

Re: Sportsman's Warehouse Lewisville

I stopped by today, everything is on sale...including guns. The employees said that when they were told about the store closing, guns were excluded from the sale, but have been ringing up at 10% off! I do think that all of the guns left (if there are any) are shipped to other stores next week. Happy...

I thought of another thing that I've done with my P3AT. As others have said, it will take its toll on your/her hand - but it is improved considerably if you add a grip. I added an ultra expensive one in the form of a bike innertube and makes a huge difference to me.

The "snap" that the P3AT can be controlled pretty well with some practice and even better with a finger extension for the mag, though this is always a balancing act in terms of concealability. I think that it's a great gun for CC, but probably not the best for day to day shooting. So depen...

This thread answers a question for me that I was just about to ask on the forum. Some coworkers have expressed interest in getting their CHL and know that I shoot, but nothing more. I think that I'll keep it that way in order to avoid situations like this, but also because it is possible even for th...

Comp Tac 2 O'Clock Review/Question

I recently got one of these holsters and have been relatively happy with it so far. I've been extremely happy with the company and will continue to business with them. I will say that the holster does not have the sweet spot that my CTAC does - making it slightly uncomfortable to sit in certain posi...

Tim - do you work in a district that posts their parking lots? If so, do you park off the lot and get people who ask why?

My wife teaches in a district that posts the 30.06 in the parking lot, so I've always parked on the street and left it in the car.

I would highly recommend a Glock 30. It's a fantastic carry gun, easily concealed, and you can have 10-11 rounds of .45!

Oh and its a Glock!

Pro CHL Article

I'm a recent addition to the membership roster here and have found it to be a great site with a wealth of information. I frequent glocktalk as well and happened to come across this article, I apologize in advance if it is a repost. More armed Texans only help create a safer state http://www.chron.co...
