Re: Alternate Comms

The Feds can eliminate legal Amateur Radio any time they want too. All it would take is an edict from Biden/Harris. Just like Hitler did. There is no constitutional protection for us. But anyway, the constitution doesn't matter anymore to the usurpers. It's being stomped on every day. N5PNZ The U.S...

Re: First time selling a firearm.

I don't understand the reluctance over a Bill of sale or receipt. If I purchase just about anything I want and get a receipt. It's not a big deal and how we all do business in this age. If I sell a gun and later on someone does some mischief with it. I will be glad to help the authorities trace the ...

Re: OC Spray Doesn’t Always Work

I have never worked in a correctional institute but I believe the prisoner might have been more cooperative after a solid kick to the head or the cajones. There is no reason to put this many officers at risk This could have been settled a lot more quickly and The prisoner might have learned somethin...

Once I get my groups to 1/4" MOA. I will try my hand at a 600 yard match. My longest hits on paper so far has been 500 yards and the groups were horrible, 6.25 MOA.
It must have been a big piece of paper.

Been following this case. It likely will be thrown out. He was stopped following an ambulance at 50mph in a 30 MPH zone (almost all the city is at 30mph) He was driving an unregistered uninsured vehicle and claimed it was his fiancé's car. Police report states they saw the round using a flashlight o...

Gun was either a piece of garbage, or was a modified race gun. While you may end up being right, it's not been established on the record. (it was alledged to be a CZ Shadow in one of the posts by a bystander) Funny that you wrote this as part of your post. :tiphat: Assumptions. Reading the co...

Re: NY Range Safety Officer Killed by Negligent Discharge During USPSA Competition

Apparently, the shooter dropped the gun while holstering. When gun hit the floor it went off.
Assumptions. Seems like an awful lot of accidents happen while holstering. Gun was either a piece of garbage, or was a modified race gun.

Re: Richest people in the world 1990-2020

It is interesting. To me, watching the names I know and how they made their money, it is a very interesting commentary on how the economy changes over time. I would have to look up the rest of the people and see what fields they are in to verify my initial impression, but the growth of technology o...

Re: Do you remember your very first time carrying after receiving your plastic?

It was back in 2006, I did the wally walk I was packing a Ruger P95, I was worried about printing. and felt a little paranoid. My wife was with me and watching to see if anyone noticed me. How things have changed. These days I carry a smaller gun. hardly ever print and I don't give a darn if I do. I...

Re: Honey Badger "temporarily" ok again

I agree. As a person, Trump is very difficult to like. I see him as a good wall against the extreme left. His court picks as a whole have all been good. IMHO... his arrogance just makes me cringe. I am beginning to like Ted Cruz as a nominee for the 2024 elections. I’d take Rand Paul over either of...

Re: If you started over carrying a firearm

It took me a while to figure out what I carry now. If I would were to start all over again I would pick the same gun. When I first started to carry there weren't as many options for a good light smallish hand gun. Today there are a lot more choices. My carry handgun of choice today is a 9mm Beretta ...

Re: Early Voting

My wife and I voted yesterday in Galveston. There was no line. There were a few empty machines. People were processed quickly and efficiently. People were constantly streaming in and out. Mayes Middleton, our rep was outside. I reminded him that to us the selection of the speaker was critical to rea...
