Re: Mom pulls gun on teenage girl to "break up" a fight
My daughter is a senior in high school this coming year. I'm on "always watch"! (actually I've taught her a crippling straight right and she seems to have a good head on her shoulders. She plans to go into the military after high school but likely through ROTC college)

Re: REI Pressuring Vista (Savage Arms)
I love to be outdoors and my wife and I backpack so REI has been a great company for equipment and clothing. It's been bothering me since March that REI got into political commentary. I recently sent them an email because they also now require presenters to avoid political commentary. I"ll see ...

NBC news cuts Swiss pro gun presentation
Tonight, 8/4/18, I was watching NBC 5:30pm news and they had a piece on Swiss gun ownership. It was commenting that Switzerland has a very high gun ownership, hundreds of gun ranges and almost no gun violence. It seemed about half way through the presentation, started talking about registration, whe...

There is also run and gun, in effect a 2 gun rifle and pistol but is distinctly more physical. Impact Zone I understand is to have one or two this year and at least one near Waco. That's good to hear. Do you know how long the Impact Zone course will be? I tried to find more information but couldn't...

Re: WI: Pistol-packing waitress defends George Webb co-worker during attack
This is exactly why all women should be in favor of concealed carry! But truly, it's why all people should be able to defend themselves with an appropriate amount of force. It certainly looks like the BG had other things in mind until the employee drew on him.

I guess I saved myself time of watching it. It looked like more Hollywood nonsense in the previews. My wife and I like backpacking so it's a shame when good scenery gets ruined by bad shows.

Excellent!! The company I work for is being bought out and I am planning to try to at least get the 30.06 signage removed. We don't currently have any policy about parking lots but I will have my information prepared with SB 321 for sure.

A woman who flipped then wrote a book, Paxton Quigley - Armed and Female or Not an Easy Target. I've recommended the books to women who think they don't need higher levels of self-protection.

Re: UK: 3 Londoners killed or seriously injured by knife crime every day.
One time at summer camp it rained a lot. Being bored, two of the boys worked to sharpen a rounded-tip butter knife. By the time they were finished it would go through paper like a hot knife through butter.

This is the same as I've always told my kids: do what the officer tells you and things will go better. I also told my kids the proper form of the saying, hands up (they) won't shoot. Do bad things happen sometimes? Sure, but don't make it worse.
