Re: Hospitals MUST post 3006/3007?
Thank you all for this information. I work for a hospital which posted .06 and .07 signs in the January the .07 went in effect. I wrote to the CEO asking to remove the .06 and his secretary called and stated twice in a firm tone that the signs would not change. She offered no legal reasoning. I had ...

I replaced my M&P trigger too with an Apex Duty Carry and it made a nice difference in smoothness.

As I've told my family, the NRA promotes responsible gun ownership and Hollywood promotes gun violence.

Just voted and 79% said yes, they support selling military style rifles to citizens. Can't tell where the media group is located that started the poll.

Re: Bad parent!
A guy I know who worked the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for many years. He worked lost and found for years and said plenty of kids would walk into the room/building, "lost" and their parents would pick them up many hours later and the parents were obviously drunk and not concerned tha...

Re: Sig Mosquito or Walther P22?
I have a Mosquito and it is pretty finicky with ammo - various failures. I haven't shot it in a while but another friend who shoots quite a bit said don't clean it and it will run better. I tried that last time and it seemed to do better although it doesn't make sense to me.

Assuming you used a credit card you'll at least be able to stop payment. Thanks for the heads up!

Re: What are your 2018 shooting goals?
Do one or two "run and gun" style competitions. I like running. I like shooting. I like the fact that heart rate can ruin a good shot unless under control.

Re: Smooth fingerprints rejected
When I got my first LTC (CHL) the instructor had us rub our fingertips on a piece of carpet vigorously to make the prints work better. I'm still not sure how that was supposed to help other than taking off the skin oils.

Re: Can you carry with permission past a 3006
I was surprised that that is exactly what happened where I work after the 30.06 and 30.07 signs went up. Apparently a few LTC folks were asked or at least offered to carry at work.

Consequences are supposed to deter people from doing stupid or bad things. I think this is a good example - do not take any part in a criminal act!

Re: How often?
When I first started shooting IDPA I shot with older guys who would joke about not cleaning their carry guns. I used to clean and lube after every range session but got curious what my gun would do with less cleaning. It still runs 100% whether I clean it or not but do try to clean it somewhat regul...
