How do relaxed gun laws change criminal behavior?

I know we've all seen the reports that once you start relaxing gun laws and restrictions, the crime rate starts dropping off over time and obviously I agree with those facts and support those efforts. But all I ever read about is the high level results like right to carry and/or relaxing gun laws le...

Re: Carry Always and Everywhere It's Legal

More details on the incident: Two black males, both wearing gloves and white t shirt across mouth. One of them had a metal pipe that he was using as a weapon. That guy was tall 6' 3". They didn't drive away, they ran into the neighborhood. So they may be living here. Might also explain the rece...

Re: Carry Always and Everywhere It's Legal

Wow, that's quite a story. Just out of curiosity, are you describing the store at Dessau Road and Tudor House? Your story sounds like it could be my neighborhood. Just wondering. It's manor, 290 and shadowglen. I'm out and about tonight (and carrying a bigger gun plus extra mags) but I plan on swin...

Carry Always and Everywhere It's Legal

So, about an hour ago, my wife was out and about doing errands, and I was sitting at home getting the munchies. I decided to pick up some junk food at the little corner store at the entrance to our fairly "safe" suburban neighborhood. It was going to be a quick trip, and I thought about ju...

Re: TX Dad defends daughter (4)

It irks me though that the article lists the pedophile as the "victim." No, you no nothings (speaking to the media), it is the daughter that was the victim and the father that is the hero for stopping the assault on his daughter. I hope he is not prosecuted. Totally off on a tangent here ...

Re: Ghost buster sign at Dell Diamond

There are 30.06 signs at the Dell Diamond, but they are on the gates facing the *inside*. They're only visible to someone from the outside when the doors they are on are swung open. But yeah, since it's usually there for professional sports, they don't really need it. It's probably there for other t...

Re: Question about carrying at church...

I used to carry at church but currently I don't. I stopped carrying when I started helping out with the children's ministry. My role there is pretty much "human jungle gym" for preschoolers and as a result, there is an extremely high chance of them at least touching if not trying to grab a...

Re: Introduce yourself

Hello all, I love this forum. I've been lurking for a while but figured I'd briefly come out of the woodwork and introduce myself. I am a refugee from Southern Kalifornia and have been loving it here in TX for the last 6 years. I hope you all won't hold where I come from against me. I'm not here to ...
