Re: Fighting rust

Interesting article here: http://www.boeshield.com/article.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. While it's meant to show how good Boeshield is (a good product - I use on my table saw and planer to prevent rust), looks like Pachmayr Rust Preventative comes out on top. But I d...

Re: Bad LEO Encounter last night

IMHO, that first cop needs a serious attitude adjustment and without folks filing complaints, it probably won't happen. Personally, I probably would have sent a letter praising the second cop and filed the complaint against the first. I have zero tolerance for people being rude when there is no caus...

Re: Montana HB246 - WOW!

Montana is cool. Are there any guns made in Texas? http://www.amderringer.com/ http://www.laruetactical.com/ http://viperactions.com/ Those are just the ones off the top of my head. They may not make their receivers here, but that could be dealt with by subbing out to a machine shop in Texas. At th...

Re: Montana HB246 - WOW!

From a legal challenge standpoint... how would this differ from the drug law that SCOTUS struck down from CA about a year ago? CA said that drugs that spent their entire existence in CA were not subject to Federal laws. They lost at SCOTUS on the thought that they were just a car ride away from bei...

Re: Press asks White House about AWB (updated)

I remain cautiously optimistic. I think Obama saw the handwriting on the wall with all the new gun purchases and fears a voter backlash resulting in loss of control in Congress.

Just my 2 cents.

Re: Something wrong with us Texans?

You can always quote Davy Crockett in that situation. :txflag: "Be sure you're right, then go ahead"? Or maybe that's just Fess Parker as Davy Crockett. That's the only quote I remember from the Disney TV shows. The quote I'm thinking of is the one he made after loosing re-election to Con...

Self-Selection Cause one's own demise. Maturity Capable of sound judgment. Veracity The event must be t...

Re: Hobby Center - are they 30.06 posted

Well boys and girls I can tell you while the front doors might be posted, they are NOT legal signs and therefore the Hobby Center is NOT posted as of today. The verbiage is indeed there, however the law is very clear that the words must be written on a contrasting background. As you can see from th...

So all those little old ladies out walking for exercise with sticks (e.g. cut down broom handles) are breaking the law?

Not from President Osama (he's protecting his illegal aunt). This one would probably send the rancher to Gitmo instead.

Whether they were talking on their cell phone, they were just a bad driver, they were falling asleep, drunk, turning left into the turn lane, or high on PCP is completely moot. The punishment should be the same. I'm all for increasing the punishment across the board, but increasing it ONLY under th...
