Charles Cotton did great at SB378 hearing
After everyone else had spoken on and on and on (often saying very little) the committee decided to limit testimony to 5 Minutes. Unfortunately, Charles was the only remaining person to testify! I was watching a video archive from the meeting as I couldn't make it in person. You should all try to wa...

Report: House Criminal Jurisprudence Committee hearing-HB284
I hope you can stand another report. I went to the meeting today after being reminded on Glocktalk that it was being held. I only stayed for HB284. This is the House companion bill to the Senate bill (hearing is tomorrow) regarding removing of any duty to retreat, and liability protection while in h...

Report:: House Law Enforcement Committee meeting yesterday
I decided to attend after being notified by TSRA email. Bills discussed were HB220, HB511, HB992, and HB1037. They all seek to adress the current issue where employers are prohibiting CHL holders for storing their handguns in a locked vehicle on a public access parking lot while at work. Actually HB...

Judging from the website address given and the name of the Texas Youth Commission, this would appear to be a governmental entity. Please correct me if I am wrong. The following comments are based on the premise that it IS a governmental entity. If it IS a governmental entity, then they can post 30.0...
